I did send the Cockpit measurements to them to make pilots for it as the 1/4 pilot is small for this one .

Thanks warblood, please post pics when you get it. Do you know if the body & head separates for possible animatronic conversion?

They have that option with built in servo but you have to pay extra charge for that .

Nose landing gear servo install is a breeze! Great work on the design. I went ahead and removed the whole thing from the airframe since its very easy by taking out 4 bolts. The only issue I had was the servo arm screw that turns the gear was a little too far out so I removed it, drilled and tapped a new hole and re installed the screw. Perfect. Installed the servo which I used am 8611A that puts out 380oz at 6v and it works perfect. Nice and smooth performance.

I have a Tomahawk pilot in my Skygate Hawk and will probably do the same on this one.

Danny, with using the 1.5" JR arm, what clevis are you using? Ball link? The JR arms are drilled and tapped, right? So the clevis that comes with the hardware kit is not compatible.

The JR arms are threaded so I used a 4-40 ball link on the servo side and a clevis on the flap side because the Ball link would have not been slim like the clevis. The clevises that come with the kit are compatible if you use a standard JR arm, if you choose to upgrade to an aluminum JR arm then you have to use whatever is necessary for the upgraded arm.

As I mentioned before, I am using servos to actuate my front and main doors. I chose to use this method of opening doors because I am not a fan myself of the traditional door slapping closed and opening. I opted at an additional expense to have the doors close at whatever speed I want. My radio also supports the required channels for the additional 7 servos and channels as the canopy, canopy lock, and air brake will also be servo actuated.

I added to small servo mounts right to where the original cylinder mount was located. They are not yet glued in on these pictures. The servos work perfectly and I will be replacing the Z bends for 2-56 rods with ball ends. Have to make a trip to the hobby store! I was able to finally figure out the location for the smoke tank, and also started working on the servo installation for the main gear doors and mounting the main tank. More pictures to come tomorrow!

Looks awesome Anton! Don't loose any more airplanes in the fog!! Awesome!

By the way, I have always wanted an airplane I can hang a hop light inside to do work!

Wow, it looks like it tracks so straight & true. Is there a gyro on board? Also very nice field-long knife edges. It appears in the video to fly very well with the P300, almost looks as if it carrying more inertia through the maneuvers. Any preference between 300 vs 210n turbines?

this Hawk T-1 no gyro ,

we test flight this Hawk by 3 turbines K210, P-200, P-300 , i think the P-300 is over power , but still do not know the Hawk 100 with underwing tanks with ordinance by P-300, we will send the Hawk 100 with underwing tanks to Taiwan for test fly by P-300 again soon,

we checked the high speed by GPS, now is 340km/h with the P-300 ,

the K210 for the 3M Hawk enough , and the P-200 ( 23kg thrust) is perfect!

Thanks for the flight report Anton. I ordered the 100 with all the ordnance, so I'll be waiting for that report.

Today I was able to finish up the main gear door servo install. I am ordering some different mounts for the actual servos as I am not a huge fan of those plastic L Brackets and also possibly replacing the servos with 8911HV servos as I feel the doors may need a little more ooomf. I made a little video of the doors opening and closing. The reason I went with servos is because I want the scale look of closing and opening smoothly and also able to close one faster or slower than the other to achieve that scale look.

The geometry was aligned in a way as to lock the doors in the UP position by setting the servo arm parallel to the linkage so the servo has less stress holding the doors closed.

I also was able to wrap a coupe strands of carbon fiber strips using west systems epoxy to the intake ducts. I am not certain that it needed them but it doesn't hurt to add it as it is minimal in weight. I also wrapped a bit around the opening where the bypass attaches to for a little more rigidity and mounting thickness.

Check out the little video.

Nice work Danny. Are you adding a servo to lock the gear doors closed in flight? I remember Anton having to add something like that.

With the servos, there's no need for locks. As I mentioned, the door cannot open because of the way the geometry is setup.

Ok, got ya. I remember reading something like this in the Tomahawk thread also. Thanks for the tips, the door operation looks awesome!
