this is very helpful since I plan to fly mine with the ordnance like I do my tomcat. Does this model have 160s and do you have any info on throttle usage and or trim changes with the ordnance?
Thanks for the update

Anton, Have you tested the single engine and mid engine version? If so, how did they fly in comparison to the version with the engine in the tail?

yes, when I test flight the first F-18D blue angel that we installed the single K-210 with separate pipe., the power was enough, but if you want to payload the ordinance , I think you may need more power, I world like the 2 K-160G without the tailpipe. or install 2 K160 in center with the tailpipes.,

the single K210 for F-18D 1/5.75 that dry weight should be 25-26kg without the ordinance .,

Likai said only 60-70% throttle used for normal flight , unless for take off, and full ordinance nomore trim changed.,

First flight was one Engine take-off. Flame out during take-off, but no problem. Second flight a log more performance. On booth flights Main Gear remained down. Need help! But a beautifull easy flying model! Reto Senn

For those that don't know you will need an extra air valve to unlock the main gear for it to work correctly. The instructions don't mention it along with allot of other things.... but its needed to work in the air.

Likai said: Does he connect lock cylinder and main gear cylinder together? You must seperate them to two 2-action valves, so there need X3 2-action valves for gear and door system. The sequance for gear-up is : unlock lock cylinder--gear up--close doors . Then reverse this for gear down.

Sorry, we will undate the Manual for F-18 1/6 as soon.,

Yes I used all UP stuff for gear and canopy. Only thing is you will need a separate air valve to unlock the gear.

Thanks, I was trying to figure out what the issue was, does the gear need two valve for the up and down? I had two for the gear on the F-14 to get everything up like it needed.

Only needs one UP valve for the gear and one 2 way valve for the unlock
