The C and D models will be about 20% smaller than these E/F models for the same 1/6 scale, right? Or will they be 1/5.75 and made to be the same physical size?

Hard choice on the E or F for me! I like both!

yes, i designed the F-18E/F and reduce the size to 1/6.25 and enlarge the F-18C/D to 1/5.75 , so, now both F-18 are almost same physical size, about 3 meter length .,

the wider of main wheel is 52mm ( 20") .,

That's pretty cool I just learned the other night when researching a scheme that the f-18 c/d is a bit smaller than the e/f so I'm glad you making the C/D the same size. This will be my 2016/17 project

Anton, will you be testing the plane with a single engine and also larger engines like twin 180s?

Anton, I was wondering if you have done any test with your F model with wing stores? If so which engine configuration will you need to go with if you plan to put all the ordnance/wing tanks on and fly?

I am having trouble finding documentation for my scheme but I will get it eventually, I have an internal conflict on getting the D over the F, does this F version suffer from the same issues the other Fs do with the landings and jumping off the ground?

The smaller F model only jumps off the ground if you don't have the correct flap deflection.

I flew the smaller C model with ordnance and without and speed was similar. Climb rate was sightly reduced, so I compensating with more speed into the vertical.

I've seen Tam's Super Hornet fly many times clean and loaded up and as a spectator the performance looked the same.

That looks cool, but tough to see. Do you still have your FEJ 1/6 F-18?

Been following with great interest. As a 2 time F owner, I really like them. The F can get nose up on landing and jump on takeoff but with practice I was able to make it seem pretty predictable.

More importantly if you watch the videos (skymaster site) of the TO and Landings (with what looks like LE and flaps down and the LEX (?spoiler)) they both look super smooth to me, plus the full length flap has to help.

I love the new gear and just need to see more to figure which engine selection is best. The two K120s look like they provide nice performance. I kind of have my interest in the new Jetcat 220 with onboard generation as an option for this plane

Dave
