Video of that model looks fantastic, flaps, leading edge operation looks great. It would appear if customers on this side of the pond would receive theirs that looked that good there would not be to many complaints. Maybe you guys could shoot some how to videos on certain issues, maybe more helpful than trying to explain in words.
Like the old saying goes, it's the last 10% effort that makes up 90% of the build. This bird is for sure on my bucket list.

Hey Anton, glad you agree. I think every customer would love to see a good quality walk around video or good pictures showing all views of what they are getting before it ships. This would greatly limit an unhappy customer who's waited months in anticipation to receive his new toy. Ultimately I'm sure you want emails from extremely happy customers than trying to fix something that's geographicly not possible. As a professional model builder myself I can fix or change things to my liking, many can't because they simply don't have the tools or facilities to do it, which is why they buy a built and painted model. That F-18 is beautiful, thank you for your time.

For those that have built one of these, has anyone had any warping of the flap gap covers? I have one on the aileron the has a twist to it that adds almost an inch gab when in the stow position. I tried tightening the link to pull it flat but since it sits flat at one end and bends up its not able to be fixed this way. This will gives me a up crow on the right wing tip so I need to fix it but im out of ideas. Thanks

My guess would be that it was not molded that way so what could have happened is that aileron may have been being forced up during packaging and shipping putting pressure on it for some time causing a twist. You may be able to return it to its molded shape with properly applied heat, then cool it with a cool wet rag. You may then need to put a stiff strait pcs of wood or some other item on it for a few days so that it can relax. I have had issues like this before and had good luck doing doing this. Hope that helps. I would of course start out with low heat and work your it up. A hair dryer on high may be all the heat you need.

Matt mine took eight months to receive, you can subtract about a months since you are not interested in paint and maybe a little more off if your going to install everything like gear, doors and air cylinders.

Detail issues
hey all, we are also talking about detail issues... I have some ugly ones... rivets sanded right out and you can even see the sanding marks left behind with lumps of body filler it looks like! Let me know what you see!
