Carf Eurosport - canards
Hi guys,
I´ll do the maiden flight in my eurosport jet in a few days and I have a doubt about the canards,
I followed the mannual but I´m not sure about the elevators trim, somebody knows what is the best option to use the elevator trim? uses the trim only in canard, elevons or both?
thanks

My Feedback: (24)
Its been 12+ years since I set my Euro up (best, longest lasting jet I've ever had BTW), but I believe that, like Dave, I only have trim on my elevons. My canards are lined up with the panel line at neutral elevator, which looks like its about 0 degrees, but I would say that whatever canard angle you start out with, you adjust the neutral so that you don't wind up with a bunch of elevon trim that is in opposition to the canards.

Dave is correct
I may be on elevator slightly in photo, but only slightly, it was a mid throttle pass down runway. Remember canard moves opposite to elevator

You do have them slightly opposite, it rolls better like this, stops the barrel roll you get with stock canard neutral. The elevens are really powerful, so you only need a tiny up to counter the down on the canard.

Can anyone advise on how best to set up the canard control arms?
I have the Dreamworks metals arms; I’m not sure if the kit specs have changed but they don’t grip the carbon rods properly, even when fully tightened. The CARF supplied arms look a mess.
What did you use and did you need to modify anything to get them to work?

carf eurosport ultimate canards setup
servo is OFF-center
pushrods must have the same length and adjust the carbon clamp holding the canards or the opposite?
it seems that whatever I do it just cant work :/
Thanks
Andy..
