Default **ALERT** Stolen jetcentral cheetah in phoenix?

Flipping through craigslist and I came across this ad for a almost new jetcentral cheetah for $500. Guy sounds like hes on something and calls be back from a private number, Says the engine is "gone" and that someone took it from him... I asked him where he got the engine and he says from a buddy of his. Totally a hot motor that hopefully we can find the rightful owner. This pisses me off!!!

His name and number is in the ad. Maybe we can match the engine with the owner.

I know a friend name Steve Gladstone who had his trailer with all his models to include a jet with a JC in it. I will contact him and see if it is his, is there a serial number on it?
This happend about a week ago, it was in a CARF Eurosport

We found out about a turbine stolen last week and we did mark that turbine as stolen. The SN is 3-375 and if we ever get this turbine from anyone except the original owner if he gets it back it will be sent to me and the authorities will be called so they can handle it from there.

Who ever owns it certainly would recognize the mounting plates still attached to the engine in that picture... That is a home made adaptor plate for sure.. I would say it's a larger airplane ( like a Euro ) because of the airframe mounts are too wide for the engine without that plate. Should be a easy deal bust some ass !!!

Good luck,
Danno

There are two different Ads for it, on one he is asking $1000 and on the other it's $500. I called and left my number to see if he calls back. I will try to get the Serial number.

I installed this turbine into the jet it was a comp ARF Eurosport. We can take a screen shot of the persons address on Craig's list. I have already done so and contacted the owner of the turbine.

I'm sure he can contact the police department and they will go get the turbine. It stolen property so if someone buys it they may also get in trouble for buying stolen property.

Some good news. I was just told by the owner that he got his turbine back today. Now hopefully he will get the rest of his things back.
