Skymaster Mig-29 twin turbine build thread
Okay so after two years of having this jet I decided to make it air worthy .so today I was able to install wings servos and thanks to skymaster just got like two hours playing with dremell the servo openings are way to small for standard servos specially the one for ailerons but I was able to get it done .The only thing I did different than other builders is the flap push roots installation the inside of the wings. Will post pictures later the site act's funny.

Subscribed, it seems to be the only one available just now (apart from FEJ & I'm not going down that route! ) . I have a spare 160 looking for a home... if I sell a lung I can maybe afford one.

A little so before glueing the bracket I'm going to do dry test with two turbines wings and batteries in ,I do have backup plan two straight pipes and turbines installed where the servos for ovt go so this will eliminate the ovt option at least till find a solution for ovt servos instal spot.

OK so what do you guys think I have done the dry test with two turbines in the place and landing gear just dropped in the places no electronic or fuel tanks the jet I about 27-28 lbs on the scale and I ended up with this much stuff in the nose section to balance the jet this is about 1.5 lbs total+ there will be more stuff in the jet to locate in the front section of the jet .

OK so after the second balance with turbines 4 extra servos for vectors and 2 servos for elevators I ended with so much nose weight it will be just to much to handle over 2.5 lbs this will make the nose to fragile and might get damaged I really like to install the turbines in the back but this will make the jet to heavy .so I decided to install the turbines the traditional method this will save a lot of weight an I will be able to use lighter batteries I might be able to do the vectors to let's see tomorrow after the glue cure .
