Here's the view in Central Virginia. It may not look like much, but for the mid-Atlantic 18" - 24" in 24 hours is enough to shutdown everything for 4 days...

Hey Bob
You need to come up to Erie to get some lake effect snow .. LOL

Even with a milder than average winter we are still in the lead...

Sorry, Rich, but I grew up in Old Forge, NY!

Our neighbor used to plow our driveway with a bulldozer and the town had one of those giant snow blowers you see in Donner Pass!

Central VA is plenty of snow for me these days!

I will try to post the pictures tonight of my car buried in a ten foot long eight foot high drift. It was parked next to my Ford Transit van which is nine feet tall. the snow pile was as high as the van with no snow on it Sunday AM. Our part of Maryland got 30" from Friday to Saturday when it stopped, and I drained 8 gallons of water out of my sunroom ceiling from a ice dam. Sean McHale lost his entire sunroom from the weight of the snow collapsing it.

I live in Maryland between Baltimore and Annapolis. We received around 30 inches of snow.

Guys that sucks! Sorry you got hammered that badly! Just west of here, in Charlottesville, VA, they got around that much as well, but east, in Hampton Roads, I think they hardly got any...
