The BPU is a powersafe unit. So voltage in is same as voltage out. If you have High voltage servos you can use 2s Li-Po's or Li-fe's straight through.
With std servos (5.6-6.0) JR type you need a regulator between the batteries and Rx Deans connectors

Great rx. I use one with 2 A123s. Tx/rx hook up and little programming required on bind.

Guys thank you that was my doubt it's a great receiver but I have no much space in the jet to work if i need to put in a regulator then I would rather put in a normal receiver and hook it up to a power distribution system as I would have more redundancy

You do have redundancy with this rx, it has 2 power feeds. When you use A123 or life batteries you wont need a regulator either. I have been using a system like this for years (JR powersafe rx) with dual A123 and JR 8711/8411 servos with outstanding results.

Well the problem is when i is when I hook this up to my emcotec power distribution system the receiver lights doesn't come up but then the servo works..I'm not very comfortable with this set up as even though the servo works but there is no light on the receiver that confirms that its operating optimumly on the other hand the light comes on when I connect the battery directly to the receiver ......

Dont use another power distribution system with this the 1131. The big box is really a power bus and the satellites are the receivers. Using 2 batteries gi ve the power backup you are wanting.

well this set up is for a turbine jet...you think it's better to just stick with the 1131 or go for a normal receiver and pair it up with a power distribution system?

I used this setup in a Excalibur and am building a CARF Ultra Flash with the same setup. 2 A123s with a 1131 RX. Totally happy with this setup with 8 JR 8411 servos and Cortex gyro.

Use the same RX on my PST Reaction with two LiFePO4 batteries direct to RX and nothing else running Savox servos. Also installing the 1131BPU in my H9 giant Decathlon with the same Booma RC LiFePO4 6.6v batteries direct to rx. No need to use any other type of system with this receiver.

Just wondering! Are these receivers OK to be use in aircraft that have carbon fiber in some areas of the fuselage? Iv'e gone to Dreamworks website and Horizon hobby website and have noticed that there is only 3 types of JR receivers to be used in aircraft that have some carbon fiber in the fuselage. That would be the AR6255,the AR9300 and the AR9310 They recommend the antennae be run outside the fuselage. That would suck in my opinion. Can anyone post what kind of JR receiver they are using successfully in a Ultra lightening! I need at least a 9 channel receiver that can be used with a Smartfly Eq 6 if possible Thanks for any info Mel Holtman

I have a FB Dolphin which is loaded with cf. Inlets are cf, all formers are cf and cf in the wings out to the retracts and other areas of cf in the fuse. I use 2 - 731rx run thru a xbus duo port. One rx and satellite on rear of jet and one on the front with satellite
It is a rock solid setup and I am extremely pleased. Power is 2 A123s. The only issue I have had is my Cortex gyro will not work with this setup. No problem though, the Dolphin doesnt need a gyro. It is unbelievably stable in all phases of flight.

In the UK most people would run an SRS Powerbox with 2x DMSS Rx's 612BX 613BX 712BX etc (any of the Xbus Rx's)
If you want to run one get an 1131B and put a long remote ext on it and add it up high.
