As Lewis stated he is making every effort to get people in their same spots sans the mandatory move of a few of positions, I am sure that everyone will understand as we are guests of the airport and need to follow their wishes.

Default Fireworks Sponsor NEEDED!

Jets Over Kentucky Fireworks 2016

We will definitely have fireworks this year. In fact, they have already been ordered. We would like to have a sponsor for this exciting event. Our fireworks begin after the conclusion of the "Parade Of Lights" parade. We're giving potential sponsors time to promote their products all week, and prior to the fireworks countdown. We have purchased 1000.00 worth of fireworks, and sponsors can contact me if interested. Don't let this opportunity pass!

When Lewis contacted us regarding the Friday Night dinner, I happily obliged with the hospitable gesture inspired by my buddy Neal Smiley, a friend and an excellent pilot who supports what we love to do like no others. We wish Neal all the best in the upcoming BM transplant and a speedy recovery. Hope to see you at the flight line again soon buddy!

Thank you Lewis for the opportunity and Keith and Sheryl for your efforts ahead!

Cheers,
Barry

Default Mail In Registration

Last chance to pre-register

Lebanon Tourism's website was down for a while during registration, and I have decided to repost the mail in link only. This option will still let you register for 60.00. The change was to move the date to June 1, but the site was down for about two weeks. Take advantage now before the June 25th deadline. Mail in registrations have been very brisk, so don't delay.

The airport manager is going to let me know which pilots want access to their hangars this year. We won't have a definite answer to camping assignments until we hear from them. The airport hangars are over 50% occupied, that's why we now have increased access to the tarmac. The airport is growing, and in some cases we have to adjust.

Hello Rich...This is Wes Parris from Connecticut. I registered for a tent some time ago and was hoping to get into the tents grouped into 1 or 2 this year. I was in tent group 3 last year. I don't care how far back I am in 1 or 2, just would love to be in one of those 2 tents groups. If it is full then I understand, but just wanted to request it.

Thanks!

Wes

Hello Wes,
I was talking to Lewis this morning and he decided to drop tent #3 all together, anyone who was in tent #3 last year will be moved to either Tent #1 or #2 as these have been expanded by forty feet each.

The area where Tent #3 was located will now be the pop up canopies area for pilots, it will be on a first come first serve basis.

Lewis hopes to have the assignments reviewed by weeks end so I can post them.

Also for others; please do not confuse tent assignment to motor home/ camping trailer assignments, they are totally separate.
As Lewis stated; unfortunately some of these may have to move, he should have the final answers by weeks end.
