Another great day! Weather has been fantastic! Thanks for the joy and excitement everyone has brought to Kentucky!!!! I will post my pictures next week. Tomorrow will be my 8th day on site, and having a BALL!!! I will recheck all tent assignments tomorrow, to guarantee pilots attending, the same tent slot in 2017.

This was the best day in the history of Jets Over Kentucky!!!
Great flying, and nearly 4,000 spectators; truly a memorable day! We're expecting as many as 8,000 spectators Saturday. So many spectacular aircraft, that is makes it almost impossible to pick a winner. Pilot count is somewhere in the 150's. Going to remember this one for a long time!!!!!
Will post my pictures next week.

Man what a great time I am still here in Kentucky, and I am looking forward to getting home and making this video. Great piloting skills were on display from all over the World, I will do my best to put together a video that demonstrates the magnitude, of The World's Grandest Jet Event. Stay tuned and buckle your seat belt.

Well, back home in recovery mode from six days at the event! I keep seeing folks talk about how good the event was this year and after four years of attending I did notice a few things at the event. Everyone socializing was something I noticed right off the bat, all the brand shirts just being social and talking shop and laughing was all over the place! So many new things coming to this side of the hobby, from new restart turbines, small PNP jets to the largest PNP jets being taken out of the box at the event and less than 24 hours later it was flying. Just blows the mind! It was a very relaxing event, this is another thing I noticed enough so I felt completely comfortable to maiden my biggest project to date! I am new to the jet arena and flying at these large events can, at times be stressful for sure, this event seemed to not have that at all. The flight line was hardly ever backed up and I think we had more pilots this year than ever, in fact the hardest thing for me was finding a spotter! I know there was some kind of thing between certain vendors and the event but its still turned out to be the best event I have been to, hopefully that will get worked out for next year. The more friends I get to laugh with the better, I know there is a lot of business/money revolving around these events which I am not apart of but its still a hobby and should be fun regardless for the people attending. I know for a fact the more friendly your approach to the hobby and selling things the better chance you have of making loyal customers and making friends for life. I did want to thank some people for the extra effort in helping my have an awesome week at the event. I wanted to thank my close friends Rex and Rob for helping me get the large model inspection done for the big tom kitty! Thanks to Ken, the entire Mobil Gang, Jose, Jim for being there to make the event fun at all times! I had a great time hanging with all of you, so many laughs and memories!!! So thanks and hope to see everyone soon! Cheers!

Fun week at KY jets
Fender,
I loved your F-14 and it flew very well. I agree this was my 4th year in a row and my wife Linda and I had a awesome time. I flew when ever I wanted. Heck I spent more time spotting on some days than flying. Everyone was helping everyone with what ever they needed.
I did get in plenty of awesome flights. I handed the box to my friends a couple of time. I flew the new T-1 by Kingtech and it flew like a big sport jet. That jet is a bargain for anyone wanting a easy to fly jet that using mid size turbines.
I also flew my new PNP F-16 and love it. I also got some cool flying with Craig South with our Hawks on Saturday Smoke ON! I also got to fly my Hawk in the late evening before the fireworks and I had a blast. That is one of my favorite times where the lights really shine.
I to notice also like you that some of the regulars and some of the sponsors didn't make it and not sure why.One of the biggest sponsors that is everywhere I guess didn't show, Horizon Hobby. I hope the Horizon is not having issues. I buy a lot and own a lot of Spektrum products and Hanger 9 planes and would hate to see the go out of business.
I hope that it's wasn't a family or person health issues.
They really missed out.
Thanks to everyone, Lewis, Marvin, Shelly. Keith for cooking that dinner alone with all the others that puts on a awesome show.
Also thanks to the town of Lebanon for their generous donations and the use of the Airport.
Thanks to Kingtech and Barry for sponsoring the dinner on Friday. I also want to thank everyone at BVM for the great customer service at the event helping me with my new F-16 PNP.
Also thanks to all the others sponsors that were there supporting a awesome event.
Dave Zuber was hurt in a accidental fall. I was so happy to see you back on Friday. Get well my friend.
Linda and I are looking forward to next year.

JOK is now in the history books and had a great time as always. This was my 6th year and the best in regards to weather, flying and all the people involved. Also; I went home with no maintenance to perform. That"s always a plus. A big thanks to those whose quick action put out the fire in my Viper. After close inspection there was no damage.
Lewis your people did an outstanding job as usual. Marvin on the flight line and the remainder of the staff on the flight line all day long; please know you are appreciated. At the end of the week we're all drained but worth every minute.
See you next year

Good morning, All! Greg and I are back in Muncie safe and sound. I wasn't able to come until Friday, but I still had a blast! Greg is also tickled about his "Special Recognition" award--he had a total of 55 flights with his Zeal Jets Viper and his Global Jet Super Viper. I think he's become addicted! Anyway, I wanted to thank Lewis and all of the volunteers for the non-stop fun and action and running everything so smoothly and safely. We will be back next year!
