Hello everyone. I just wanted to post a note thanking Lewis and all of this team for presenting one of the best jet rallies I have ever attended. We arrived on Sunday night and got to the field on Monday. As I was moving up the drive that first morning the first thing I noticed was that all of the tents had been set up. WOW! In years past these were normally set up on Monday or Tuesday. This time it was done well in advance of the event for the pilots. Moreover, there were over 90 Pilots registered on Monday! Unbelievable.
I have to say that everyone there, pilots, helpers vendors etc were fantastic. If you ever want to go to a rally that doesn't have drama and caters to pilots this is the event to go to. Flying is non stop from 8am till dark every night. I brought 5 jets and flew all of them. The airport manager was fantastic to work with and every accommodation for the pilots was made. Also, the runway has recently be repaved and it was smooth as silk. The flight line operated like a fine tuned swiss watch. With the record number of pilots in attendance I think I only saw at max about 4 jets lined up waiting to fly. The loud speaker system was fantastic and helped pilots hear the communication on the flight line and most everyone there did their best to communicate with others. I have to say this is unique to any other large rally I have been to. When you have six jets in the air for hours at a time it becomes critical to keep the line moving and pilots in the air.
The parade of lights and subsequent fire works show was entertainment wrapping up this fantastic week. Everyone seemed to enjoy that night.
Thanks go out to Lewis and his team for putting together this excellent event. Also one other thing. For you guys with wives, bring them to JOK! The girls get together there and have a blast! It's like a home coming event! Johnnie and I fully intend to come next year (maybe not with 5 jets lol - keeping up with all of those damn near killed me on the last day when I had to put them all up lol).
Thanks again and see you guys next year!

It's was great to meet you and Johnnie. I had read about you when and loved watching you fly the F-4 in the past when I first came to KY jets some 5 years ago. It was really great to hang out with you and everyone else. Looking forward to next year.
Linda had a really good time also. Like you said the best laid back, no pressure event.
The ladies had so much fun hanging out with each other. Heck one night I turned in before the my wife.
Hope see everyone again next year.

Thank you lewis and your crew for putting on a world class event. I had fun flying my Panther Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I especially enjoyed flying in the show. Thanks also to everyone who took the time to take pictures and videos. I only had a crummy phone camera and only got a few pictures worth sharing. the first one I would call " The Big Guy upstairs kicking off the parade of lights"

Lost my Viper Jet and sold my Flash at KJ but had a great time anyway. Its all about the people, I can fly anytime! I met a new bunch of great guys and had a good time with old ones. My 3rd year at KJ and it just keeps getting better. Outstanding show on Saturday, can't wait to see what next year brings. Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere (only difficult if you make it difficult) superb flying all week and the wealth of knowledge you gain at these type jet shows.
Lewis, Thanks again for all your hard work, great field crew (especially helping retrieve my multi million piece Viper) and tent accommodations.
Looking forward to next Year!

Same here. You were a great help and a pleasure to pit with. I think Johnnie and Linda could be best friends. Your bride is an extremely sweet and lovely and kind person. You guys are awesome!

Thanks Andy, the same regarding your Air Force....man I don't see how you can service & fly all of them with precision.
Say please don't risk the HIGHLY COMPETITIVE L-39 in another sky full of both 200 mph rockets as well as foamies......OK ! ! !
Finally had an opportunity to catchup on matters with Johnnie.....
I will phone soon to discuss some Jet Team USA particulars.
Cheers, Roger
Oh yea Congrats on you JOK Award....well deserved.

Fender,
Congrats on your F14 maiden. The jet flew perfect. We all know that you put a lot of work into this jet. All of your hard work paid off! You also did a great job flying it with nerves of steel. Great job bud!

2016 was our best year to date. Will comment further after I've had a chance to rest.
