Default 220 sized turbine question

Quick question, I just picked up a JB220, & wondering I f it is de-tuned to 36lbs of thrust do you still need a hi flow fuel system? I'm thinking not, but not sure if the high flow system is only necessary for the higher thrust settings, or if it is a more powerful pump pushing higher volumes of fluid through all phases of flight (especially when commanding the full 36lbs from idle).
Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Jay

I would still use a high fuel flow set-up with a detuned JB220. With my bigger engines (160 and up) I make sure that my fuel system allows for high fuel flow and minimal cavitation, especially if using multiple tanks. Typically that means that I use 6mm clear lines between fuel tanks, large Tygon for clunks, and proper venting.

Thanks.. I can dial back the RPM, right? I plan on doing that to set max output to 36lbs

Sorry, misread your post. You can dial back the RPM.
