The most well known kits for Me163 are German from Sunshine models. They are available in small to large size, the large one is for a 160 size turbine and is 4m wingspan. Plenty have been made and flown. The more expensive kits are mostly moulded and construction is quite simple.

Yep John is bang on.
I have a saitta 83" komet kit at home. The wing ribs are really poorly cut. I had to pack some of them out by as much as 1/8". The fuse is polyester, and I later bought the turbine upgrade kit from him and it was just a random collection of poorly cut, poorly fitting parts and practically useless instructions. It was all pretty much throw away. When I asked for some more details how to fit all the new parts I got 1/2 dozen photos that didn't really explain too much more. For your info I scratch build a fair bit, so not my first rodeo.
i would recommend the sunshine models option. You can get them through Vogelsang aero scale.
thanks

Hi Mike,
It is the 105" version. Shipping was about $250.00 I think. I completely re-engineered the
fuselage internal structure. Things in the kit I did not use....all the wood components, the fuel tank and the exhaust pipe. I would only buy the airframe, landing gear and the tail wheel. The turbine must be moved way forward from the position they tell you for proper balance and weight.
Best, Mark

You mentioned landing gear I assume you mean some sort of dolly like the full size?? How long did it take for you to get the kit?? What was the cost for everything. What power is that T20 motor??
thx Vin...

Vincent, Yes, the take-off dolly and wheels. They are top quality and necessary. Just a couple of weeks as Goetz at Vogelsang has them in stock in his warehouse. The TJ20 turbine is 200N. My total cost for the kit was about $3400.00. It does require a lot of work to finish. Joe Grice has a lot of knowledge of this airplane and was kind enough to point me in the right direction on my build.
