Default 2.66M Fly Eagle Hawk engine

Belongs to a friend of mine, I will most likely be doing the maiden flight, he got a K160 for it, looking at the numbers on the pic, which engine is best suited for it?

Thanks

Make sure to check the elevator mechanism and the connection between the elevator’s, they have problems with that area with breaking or other failures

Hey!

Thanks for the advice, this Hawk is post problems, I know the story of the problems they created by using honeycomb on the elevators.

His one comes with the improved H stab and the new elevator/servo mechanism.

I think this was about using the carbonfiber instead of the aluminum jointer, when drilled the carbonfiber usually breaks right through the drilled area

Are you telling me the 160 was enough for this beast? The recommended engines are from 170 to 200, did you have any reserve trust? Or were you flying at 90% stick?
