Default Any exerience using bvm plastic hinges vs aluminum??

I tried to post a wanted ad for BVM aluminum hinges and cannot tell where it went.
However, does anyone have experience with using the BVM plastic hinges instead? Soft al does not always win the battle with plastics. Hinging large gear doors on 1/5 F-86 and airbrakes.

Looking for BVM hinges.
Especially NIB or nib condition all hardware etc, 8 screws per hinge.
Would consider recovered hinges if excellent condition ie gear door stayed closed during "event."
Need as many as 5 pairs, 3 gear doors and 2 airbrakes.
Please send qty avail, condition and price.
Thank you
Charles

I have used the new white BVM gear door hinges. They are very robust and can take a lot of abuse. I like that they will "give" unlike the aluminum ones . I don't think you will break them.

I have been off line 2 days. Thank you for your responses. Looks like I may be able to get enough parts to keep going.

Scoeroo, I sent a PM but I seem to be having trouble with the system, cant tell whether it was actually sent.
Please send how many you would sell and price with shipping to 38134.
I am also looking at Intairco hinges and will order some BVM plastic. I do like the idea of some flex but Airmaster recommends changing to metal, these are large doors.
Somewhere in the mix I should be able to get it done.
Cheers
Charles
