I wanted to say thanks for all your input about the f-18. The new scheme is almost finished and just wanted to post a picture. Still don't know what to do about that canopy.

I tried already and they won't sell me one because it doesn't have an extreme jets or skymaster logo on the interior which is what I guess they do on the newer versions.

They won't sell you a canopy ? how lame is that ! So now you can't fly a perfectly good jet for want of a
25.00 plastic part .
And companies wonder why their customers go elsewhere .
Perfectly rediculous.

I would doubt that they actually keep parts like that in stock for older kits, and would have to be manufactured as needed.

A canopy replacement seems to be a fairly popular request . They seem to be prone to breaking , cracking , screwed up while being dyed and even fly offs . We had one of the latter at an event
and it came to rest on top of a huge pine tree , no way to retrieve it .
I guess if you're not into carving plugs and getting someone to vac down a slab of pteg plastic on it , you're screwed. What a shame.
