ok guys First time to Chime in
we had a major setback when China post office was refusing to send the packages due to size.
It seems that it the issue has eventually been resolved by using two boxes. We will also check the difference in price. if it can be included in the existing price I will try to keep the price the same at jtm-cyprus.com

I fitted Electrons. They have the spec now. Mains just drop in. The nose gear needs two simple 4mm spacers making.

JP is working for a set to match the Fortune.
Electron as i understand already have a set that fits.
and i was thinking about converting using a set of CYS R2090 retracts with original struts and wheels (air brakes). i have these gear in a few of my jets and they are great!
i have looked into the CYS conversion, its a bit of work, but it can be done.

JP hobby will have a complete set. retracts struts and brakes .
I'm not sure if converting the stock strust is possible since the pin is actually a screw on pin. maybe with a small mod they will fit.
Very soon they will be in stock

Hi Lior, would the CYS R2290 be a better candidate? Only problem is I can't seem to find the trunion clamp hole size dimensions, nor do they seem to sell without the struts.

They sell CYS R2090 (not R2290) on ebay without struts for 150$.
Hole size is 6mm, but can be milled to 10mm.
you would have to mill down the struts to 10mm too.

Guys
Thanks for the info
1) I have use JP before , if I am not wrong the Sebart Avanti Mini use it , quite good , if JP has it I may consider
2) Anyone can help to check if www.airbeast.com.tw , go to facebook , paste in this ....小百幕模型 - AirBeast
then , scroll down to see the post on T-one model
3) If to buy electron , I saw the combo link has T-one fortune , should be whole set include e-restract , oleo , e-break , controller
4) lastly , I still prefer to use back the oleo of the T-one fortune when deliver to me ....

Anymore advice on my point above will be appreciated

Thanks again

The R2290 electric retract set from CYS looks like it might be an interesting set to convert the fortune to electric gear.

Not sure about struts and wheels, but retracts look really good (reverse retraction, made for 11mm strut).

Fortune Jet - CG and control throws.

Ive had many people ask me to check my CG and throws, so i finally put the Fortune on the Xicoy CG meter.
This is with everything loaded, UAT full and main tank empty.

The CG which the meter is reading (90mm in front of main wheels with springs retracted) equals about 260mm back from leading edge wing joint.

I hope you guys benefit from there numbers, as you can see she flys just fine

Control throws:
Flaps: takeoff 40mm, landing 97mm.
Ailerons: 31mm up, 20mm down, 40% expo.
Elevators: 33mm up, 28mm down, expo 40%.
Rudder: 60mm, 40% expo.

Hey all,
Got one on the bench waiting on engine... Are these numbers here the latest and greatest to go with ?? I read early in the thread that C.G. was 210.. 260 is a bunch of difference. What is the preferred location you guys are using ??

Thanks !!!

Dan

P.S. this is the original T-1 kit right ?? Never heard it called " Fortune " before.. LOL
Thanks !!

The T-1 flies great at 260 which is right on the centre of the spar. I used i3dm's control throws above and found them fine although I use a bit less expo but thats just to suit me.
Very little trim compensation is needed for flaps so makes for a really pleasant first flight.
Make sure you check that the bolts are tight on the tail clamps Mine came loose.
