Default New USA Representation for Jetcat Products and Service

Announcement For the USA

There are many things to consider when selecting a model turbine, turbo-prop or helicopter power plant. A level of trust must extend between the supplier and the customer. At JetCat, we take great pride in earning this trust, as we have since our beginning.

Unfortunately, in regards to the American market and our US representative JetCat USA, we have recently failed to maintain that level of trust and consumer confidence the American market demands. In an effort to restore product confidence, and commit to a level of service and support JetCat customers deserve, I have taken executive action to release our current US representative and appoint a new person to lead JetCat USA as of April 15th, 2016.

Based on his extensive industry knowledge, business leadership skillset, and passion for providing unparalleled customer support, I welcome Todd Witkoff of Dreamworks Model Products as our new distributor and JetCat representative for the USA. I have no doubt Todd’s leadership will meet the expectations of our US customers and provide the level of support each and every JetCat customer deserves.

I wish to express my apologies to those that experienced a period of “disconnect” from JetCat USA and request a little patience as we finalize the transition and Todd has an opportunity to get settled in. It is our sincere desire to build our customer's confidence once again; and we are fully committed to accomplishing that goal.

Over the next few months a full service and repair facility will be established as soon as possible in order to provide the excellent service you, our customer, deserves. In the meantime, all repairs from US customers will be treated with priority and executed by JetCat Germany in the shortest time possible. All engines requiring service from this date forward should be sent to Dreamworks Model Products for expedited dispatch to Germany. Should you require immediate service, please contact Dreamworks Model Products directly before sending your engine so the required documentation can be included with your return. We ask for your patience during this time of transition and look forward to keeping JetCat a leader in the micro-turbine industry.

Sincerely

Markus Zipperer

Announcement: JetCat USA is moving to DreamWorks in Daytona Beach Florida.

In the last couple of years, I have enjoyed this business and interacting with all of the loyal JetCat pilots. This
move is being made because DreamWorks has both the personnel and financial resources to support JetCat USA
customers with the excellent service they deserve.

CST, The Composites Store, our other Company, will continue to operate as normal. CST sells composite material
including, carbon fiber rods, Kevlar, carbon fiber cloth, West and MGS epoxies along with other supporting
materials.

John Redman is moving into a position matching his skills as a pilot and technical mechanic.

All engines under repair and orders are being transferred to DreamWorks.
If I can answer questions, please feel to contact me.

Sincerely
Dennis Redman

Guys,

This is for real.

No accounts have been hacked, no "Discos or ETs are so involved. Bob posted the the announcements on behalf JetCat (Markus) and JDR/CST (Dennis). The announcement will soon be on the JetCat website if it hasn't already.

Congrats Todd and good luck in the new venture.

I have no idea of Bob's RCU user account, maybe it's been so long he couldn't remember his password. (?)

Why is this "move" so hard to believe?

Maybe if John comes here and post, then it will be irrefutable?

I posted in the JetCat forum above.

Since I have an engine down there right now, I took Dennis's post at face value and called asking for Dennis or John. I was told that Dennis was busy and John wasn't there anymore.

Now I had a hard landing with my KingCat, but the engine was still running and I found no exterior damage. I sent it to JetCat a week ago asking for an inspection, new starter O-ring and test run. I don't see why it couldn't get finished by Friday unless they found something haywire with the engine. If it gets shipped to Todd and then on to JetCat Germany as the post says above because Todd is not setup yet, I'm going to be really unhappy.

In reality, I need some service on an engine, and I just want to know where to send it!

It's not that hard to believe. It's just that there is so much misinformation on the internet as a whole and on RCU, that I am cautious with any new information posted.

I purchased a new Merlin 160 from Todd and he has supported it for the 10+ years that I have used and abused it. I think this is good news for JetCat owners.

Dennis's post says you send it to Todd and that all the current repair work and orders will be sent to Todd. The post from JetCat Germany says the change is effective Friday April 15, 2016.

Glad I got rid of Jet Cat several years ago, before John Redman took over for Bob. This was when JetCat was really having issues with customer service with Scott as a tech. Thought John was doing a good job? If Todd is taking over, I am sure it will be great service. Guess Bob still somehow owns JetCat USA?

I miss Bob Wilcox.

No doubt Jetcat has tarnished a little over the last couple years. I think that has had a little to do with the excellent customer care and service from brand "K" and others. I have heard a lot of mixed reviews on the current JC service.

Todd is a solid guy and I wish him all the best if this is true.

First let me say that I'm looking forward to the future of Jetcat service in the US, especially under Todd's leadership. With that said, when will Jetcat GERMANY finally start shipping reliable engines? IMO, that's the elephant in the room. The new Jetcat USA wasn't without it's problems, but it's unfair to throw them under the bus when the engines don't work reliably. I've gone from owning over a dozen Jetcat engines to not owning a single Jetcat and it wasn't because of Jetcat USA. It was because of bad designs from the parent company.

Sorry guys, my old handle Bob_Wilcox didn't work. Hadn't made a post since 2007 so maybe that's why. Had to start a new one. Yes I did remember my old password.....

I still work for the manufacturer Ing. Cat so I was asked as to make these posts. Sacrificial lamb?????

I'm sure Dennis will get back to anybody that has repairs being forwarded to Todd. I will be there tomorrow and I will check on yours Zeeb.
