So who is the point of contact for current status of engines shipped to John in California and why the heck didn't JetCat Germany provide a seamless transition from Redman to Witcoff??

Maybe Markus Zipperer from JetCat Germany would like to chime in....

Hey Bob Wilcox, When you get to JetCat tomorrow look up my two JetCat P-120 turbines and send them back to me. The UPS tracking number for the box with the two turbines was 1Z170X250336251732. I don't want them sent to Germany.

I don't have the serial numbers so don't ask

I am in the same boat as Rick Boyer. My P120SX has been out there for a few months, only to find out a couple of days ago that this was happening. I also need this for Top Gun for my Mig. I have no backup plane unfortunately and would have to scratch altogether. Fortunately I talked to Cindy at Jetcat USA . She told me That Bob Wilcox was coming there to assemble it and get it back to me. That was yesterday, so we will see. Cindy was very helpful.

Sorry Rav, You're missing the point. This isn't about the new management. It's not Todd's fault. It's about JetCat Germany and Markus Zipperer, who runs the company. You don't shut down you're only service center in the US with no one online to pick up current backlog.

Hi Todd,

Thank you for your kind effort to resolve the repair of my two JetCat P-120 turbine engines. Many have reached out to lend me an engine for Top Gun, but I am very hesitant to borrow another engine from a friend to fly in my airframe for various reasons.
Yesterday, I was able to reach Cindy and Dennis via phone. I asked them to ship the turbines back to my home. I'll wait for you to get up to speed with JetCat repairs and send them to you when you're ready.

I do not want to ship to Germany. Nothing personal, strictly business and economics. However, I am very disturbed by Mr. Zipperer's failure to have you online before pulling the plug on John. If he did it to John, he'll do it to you.

Hopefully, you'll be up and running soon.

I wish you nothing but success,

Rick

Rick...you keep crying about Todd not being set up and Jetcat pulling the plug on Jetcat USA bla bla. Jetcat set up with dreamworks to send all motors to Germany for service until Todd can get set up. Just because your motors won't be back for top gun is no fault of Jetcat Germany or Todd. Steer your anger towards jetcat USA, they dropped the ball.
Vin...

Right Vin. Where did I cry about Todd?? I just thanked him for trying to help. Go back in your closet Vin.

Anger Vin?? Yep, I'm pissed! Don't like it Vin? To bad. I'll be at TG with or without my JetCat.

I'm finished here. Want the last word Vin. Call me on my cell. My number is listed back a few posts.

I sure am glad to hear Todd is the new Jetcat guy. After a few frustrating conversations and disappointing warranty issues. I was called a liar. Promised many things, and after 3 returns for repair NEVER ended up with a running P100. John basically told me "you should go to another brand of turbine" soooo I did. Sold all my Jetcats except an older 120 that I planned to run into the ground and sell for parts when it was no longer safe to operate. I. Vowed NEVER to give John one penny of my money EVER agian. If he was the only person left on the planet selling turbines I would simply get out of the hobby....That's how pompous he was to deal with. I had my issues with Scott at Jetcat for sure, but Bob was always a gentleman to deal with. I went to Kingtech. My Kingtech experience has been the polar opposite!! Great service when needed (only once for repair and once for 25 hour service) and fantastic turn around time.....in a word...refreshing....
With Todd at the service end I may even decide to send my P120 backf for service when the time comes! Good move Jetcat. Those of you who had great turn around times at Jetcat most likely received your turbines quickly due to the fact mine always languished on the Jetcat shelf dying a slow death. For months while I called and begged them to repair my turbine........Todd you have a long way to go to restore Jetcat name I my book , but if it can be done I suspect you are the man to do it!

Your view of this situation is valid, however there is more to the story! Without parts from JetCat, JetCat USA could not repair in a timely manner.
This type of pressure from a responsible, great RC flyer has put John Redman in Palmdale, CA hospital with the initial evaluation of a stroke!!
Visited John this afternoon, his complaint was the attractive nurse wouldn't follow his instructions. Still has numbness in his left arm and leg.
Just pray for his complete recovery.
