Paul,
Please leave the factory settings as is. The factory test runs every turbine before it leaves the factory and they are set up for Diesel start. Even though they are set up for diesel start, Kero/jet A will also normally start on those same settings. The new ECU is totally different from the Xicoy ECU settings. Barry is working on the new manual and will have it out soon. Please set up the new turbine with its new equipment, learn RC, Prime the pump and start it. If it does not start to your likings, call Barry or myself for tech support before you try and change anything on your own.

Dirk

After setting up my RX, ECU, GSU, Turbine, and pump on the bench, I powered the RX and entered the Radio Menu on the GSU to Learn R/C. This works correctly, I can see the correct pulse widths and also stick/trim positions shown in the Dashboard. I then entered the the Turbine Menu and using Prev/Next (3&4) to view the settings and wrote them down in my (old manual) to compare values (I have not changed any values on the new unit). When I saw that the two of the start up settings were much higher than the old manual, I posted them here to confirm before continuing with 1st start on the bench yet (still waiting on fuel tank fittings). Note, I have also entered the HDT menu to view settings and it shows:
K60, Ver1:01 Build: Aug 1 2016

Here are the screen page numbers on the GSU to correspond to the values:

Thanks Dirk - I understood your response - I mistook the last post as being from Barry (markusvt - On the new ECU/GSU, how did you get to these settings?) So, being cautious, I provided a full explanation.
Personally, I wish we all just used our names I only ask questions on forums and leave the answers to the experts.
Thanks again,
Paul

Paul,
Please leave the factory settings as is.

Dirk

Bench testing was excellent. Quick starts - smoothly moving through the Stages. Accel / Decel responses are fast - idles steady. ECU Dashboard is very helpful (and cool).
Only things to note were: the prime function (9/9 Test Menu) was really slow and the Log and Summary functions both seem to get stuck connecting to the ECU.
Thanks,
Paul

Here's what I have gathered about pump priming, tap on the #1 ON button to start (at this time the pump will prime at very low voltage) then you might want to increase pump power by tapping on the same button until desired pump speed reached (more tap more power) pump will continue running at the last tapped power, then tap #2 button to turn it off.
Hope this helps,
Barry

The log and summary functions work after you have some runs. The system needs data to look at. It does store a number of runs you can look at, pretty cool.
Thanks again Dirk.

First run on my KT120g with the new pump, ECU and GSU. Had a hard time priming the pump. Ended up disconnecting the pump fuel line from the UAT, added an extension, filled the extension with fuel and blew in it while using the prime function in GSU. Finally got a little fuel in the pump, hooked fuel line back up and it started. Ran excellent! Another great turbine from Kingtech to add to my collection.

I finally ran my new K100 today and all I can say is WOW. Very good craftsmanship on the pump, ECU and GSU. I don't know about you guys but the GSU screen looks great in my work shop but out in the sun is very hard to see it. Is that anything that can be done to fix the glare on the screen? Maybe a brightness adjustment? Under than that I'm very pleased.

Hello, I have a problem that I can't find the answer to. I power up the rx then plug in the ecu battery. When I plugged in the ecu battery the pump runs. I'm sure this isn't normal. Can anyone answer why my pump is running on power up?
