Thanks guys, I did check both of those already but no problems there. I did a test to satisfy my curiosity. I plugged in the ecu without the rx powered up and the pump still ran. This should not be possible, correct?

My Feedback: (11)
I bench tested my new K120 today...sweet
so once I had it all hooked up and all the cables going to the right place my buddy Dave (turbine goroo) set up my radio ( I would have no idea how to do this!). We hooked the fuel line that goes to the turbine into an over flow tank and started to learn the radio.
You have to go into the "radio" icon and run threw the steps. At first it was confusing as "add" equated "enter, and save" once you completed a task.
Once the radio was learned we primed the pump. With the fuel line going into a auxiliary tank we started to prim. You go to the "test" icon and scroll threw till you get to 9/9 and that is the prim pump page. I hit the on a bunch of times as I moved the fuel threw slowly pushing bubbles threw. I got to like 100 if I remember and just waited as it slowly but surely primed the pump.
we connected the fuel line to the turbine and went threw the start up, it started right up and ran great. At about 30 or 40 seconds in and going to just over half throttle, up and down it flamed out (bubbles).
The turbine did not go into cool down mode. We put the blower on it to cool it down. Then we saw all the bubbles in the line from the UTA. So the flame out was due to all the bubbles, not sure why it did not go into auto cool down. Also it was saying failsafe in the screen.
so we shut everything down and let it cool off. Then we hooked the fuel line back up to the aux tank and primed the pump to push all the air out.
The other starts went off with no hitch, she ran great and shut down properly. We only went to half throttle as this thing is a beast.
ECU hook up and pump hook up.
Turbine hook up.
Hooking everything is not to hard, you just have to pay attention to what goes where.

Got the turbine running today and put three flights on it. Very nice smooth starts and seems to run totally fine on kerosene and kingtech oil. I will switch over to diesel when I have used the last 2 gallons of kero that I have. Very happy with it!

7.4V is in the allowed voltage for the receiver.
The allowed voltage to this port on Xicoy ECU is 10V max and I hope the new Kingtec ECU is the same.
Another question that I hope someone can answer is, Has Kingtec put a manual out yet for their new ECU. I cannot see it on the site.

What is the reason for wanting to change the Xicoy Ecu for the new one? Are you having problems with the Xicoy ecu?
