ONE OF THE LARGEST JET SHOWS IN THE WORLD!

27th. Annual Best In The West!

It's that time of the year for Best In the West Pre-Registration, Tent Rentals etc., etc., Registration is now OPEN: Best In the West Jet Rally will be held on Wednesday October 5th through Sunday October 9[SUP]th[/SUP]., 2016 at the Elk-Hills Buttonwillow Airport in Buttonwillow, California. Anyone planning on attending, you may pre-register on-line at the RCFlightdect site https://www.rcflightdeck.com/event.cfm?id=5933 Pre-Registration fee is $60, on-site registration fee is $70.00. This year Best In The West again will donate some of the net proceedes to The Make-A-Wish Foundation.

If you would like to rent a Tent, please let me know as soon as possible to secure your Rentals, if you rented a Tent last year, you will have that Tent space for 2016. Payment is provided on-line through PayPal from our website. You will also be able to pay for Pre-Registration, Tents, Tables, Chairs, Lights, Hats, T-Shirts, Friday Night Pilot’s Dinner (free to Registered Pilots), Saturday Night Banquet Tickets, etc, etc. . We will also be able to take Credit Cards at the event to pay for Auction Items as well as Registration and Apparel.

The Awards Banquet and Auction will be held on Saturday evening at 7:00PM at the field in our 40 X 80 Tent, this is convenient for all Pilots and Crew members who are camping On-Site, and if you are attending the banquet, you can fly as long as you like, right up to the start of the banquet.

This year's Auction will be great as they have been in the past shows, we have the best sponsors that have donated to the show. We can't thank our Sponsors enough. We have 34 Spectacular awards to hand out, nothing comes close to our trophy's. Again this year we will decide on who will be the recipient of the Colonel Robert Thacker Award, our most Prestigious Award handed at BITW. Please let us know if you will be attending the banquet, banquet fee is $40.00, the Friday Night Pilot’s Dinner will be held at the field, All Registered Pilots are free, everyone else who would like to join us for dinner, there will be a $30.00 dinner fee. All Non Pilots who would like to attend the Friday and Saturday night dinners, can do so by logging onto https://www.rcflightdeck.com/event.cfm?id=5933 and buy your tickets on-line, you can also purchase on site but the sooner the better to avoid no available tikets, we also need to let our Caterers know the head count mid week of the show.

There will be vendors at the show: Some of our Vendors attending are: Kingtech USA, Elite Aerosports, House of Balsa, Global Jet Club, and much more.

FOOD CONCESSION will be available from Thursday October 6[SUP]th[/SUP]. through Saturday October 8th, serving Breakfast and Lunch, along with All American Ice Cream Truck and others. There will be a General Raffle and a Pilot’s Raffle, with lots of good Raffle Items as well as 50/50 tickets, you may purchase tickets on-line or at the Registration Table.

Best In the West looks to be the biggest it has ever been this year, please join us and have some fun with us, come fly with the west coast guys, The Cali Crew and Hill Climbers and see how we do it.

Best In The west is just less than a month away, if you have not pre-registered, please do so if you are planning on attending. Tents, etc are still available to rent. to all pilots including international pilots, please remember to go on line at the FAA and register, FAA says all pilots must register and have there registration number somewhere on your jet and a copy with you, please register at: https://registermyuas.faa.gov/

For any pilot who has pre registered on the rcflightdeck site, and forgot to purchase an item, ex. Banquet, etc., the site in the past will not allow for you to go back into your registration until NOW, you
are able to go to your registration and add items, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Also you may also register other pilots if need be.
