Kingtech presents the all new T1 sports jet
#1701
This is my T-1 in the UK, I test flew it this past weekend on a very cold windy day.
This had to be the easiest test flight I have made, very little trimming needed and only a few clicks for each flap setting.
landing was a breeze just came off the throttle and let the plane settle on to the runway, no noticeable wing rock and touched down nice and slow.
I have a Cortex Pro on board but haven't connected it up yet and it definitely didn't need it.
So we'll have to see whether I'll use it or not.

Hey fellow T1 owners. I’m finished with my build, and would really like to add lights. Does anyone here have some pictures of how they installed their lights? Really super apprehensive about cutting into a wing for nav light install, but would take the plunge with some virtual hand holding. Ready to maiden next week!
thanks,
Tom

Unfortunately, that's the way it works these days. There are so many color schemes and/or options, it's just not practical for folks to keep stock of the turbine models. That is one reason the freight is so spendy anymore, they come air freight from the manufacturer, not slow boat like they used to when dealers kept more stock.

This thread sure is quiet, but after getting my first flights on my T1 I understand why. Everyone is busy flying there jet. All I can say is wow what a jet it is. Well worth any wait for this jet.

The USA has never had any kind of import tariff on model airplanes or their parts. In the case of the Turbines, it's such a small chink of the marketplace that I'm betting most people, including politicians, don't have a clue that Turbine powered model airplanes exist.
While there is always the chances that someone will notice as Dirk says, let's just keep our fingers crossed and our mouths shut 'till we see what happens...

I know many of you T-1 owners opted to not use the nose door. Let me know if you want to sell it to me. Mine is somewhere in the woods I have the red Coke scheme but any door will do.
Thanks
