Yeah, but you can't fly it without it
Hopefully it will arrive soon.
Are any valves included with the gear?

I think it only comes with air line and fill valve and some T fittings. They also give you just enough airline to not be able to finish it lol. I requested a while back they supply a little more but not sure if they did.

They come with the airline, metal T and X fittings and wing screw together fittings . You will need the 2 valves, 1 brake and 1 gear, 2 air tanks, 2 gauges and fill valves.
Not sure about he airline lengths as I changed mine out to the colors of my jet We used most of the factory airline on the 3rd one I helped build though.

causeitflies,, just hand launch it... lol

If the supplied air line is not enough I have plenty of spare line.
Looking through the hardware I see that the pushrods are too small for the ball links. Most of them push in and pull right out. Luckily I have a lot of spares from other kits that will work.

I love that the nose is removeable. Not just the cone but removing the whole nose makes it easy to get inside the front area. The whole design is very well laid out.

((I see that the pushrods are too small for the ball links. Most of them push in and pull right out))

If this is true, I would email Dirk to let him know so they can look into this,

I didn't play with the rods and rod ends that came with mine, I had a bunch of Titanium left / right thread rods and other rod ends I used.

I made the factory aware of this back when I got mine. They will only go in and out easy in the one direction. I simply popped them all out and installed them the opposite way (right way) so encase they pop off its on the servo side so I will have some control left. Best thing to do is simply install your own links.

Ok, so are we talking about the ball link balls themselves or the puchrods in the plastic ball link ends?

I was referring to the rod and ball link ends. The thread is too small on the rods. I think someone else mentioned this earlier.

My gear arrived earlier this week. I rec'd tracking and it took about 3-4 days. Only the retracts/wheels were included, along with a small bottle of touch up paint. Nice touch.
My kit arrived in NY today and has cleared customs. Can't wait to get it!
Keep the thread rolling, it's going to be useful.

Jolly Rogers were not Black Sheep.
Black Sheep is a Marine squadron, and Jolly Rogers is Navy which became famous after shooting down 2 Libyan Migs in the 80's over the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Libya.
As a former F-18 mechanic VFA-113 and Navy veteran I don't see the problem with it.
If I could I'd get it in the VFA-113 "Super Bee" scheme.....

It was going to be my Winter project, but having everything there to finish it made it impossible to wait. I love a clean look and decided to build the airplane as clean as possible. The only thing missing on the tray is the Igyro in the center and the on/off plug. The UAT tank is going to be strapped down to the main tank. I went with Spektrum LiFe batteries for receiver and ECU.

Well Dan... Can't even order one right now. We are waiting until the factory clears the back log some. They did just complete 2 more molds so that's 4 now so they can build more. But they are pretty picky about who they hire to do the work so it comes out right.
When ever they get the backlog down to under 30 then I think Dirk will start taking orders again. If you don't mind a long wait then give him a call and jump on the waiting list. He won't take any money right now.

Hello,

To all of you who are waiting for the T1 like me. Dirk invited me to go by and take a look at a recent delivery of his T1 Honda scheme, knowing that I am waiting for the same order. They say a pictures paints a thousand words, True! But in person just (one) awesome!!!! Know I see why they say wait Until you see it in person. The level of workmanship on this ARF is as good as any of the top ARF models out there. I am one that appreciates quality at a great price. I take my hat off to Barry and Dirk.

Regards,

Carlos...

I am on the wait list. i am trying to decide on a color scheme. I'm torn between the Yellow, Blue or Jolly Roger scheme.

I've seen the yellow scheme posted, very nice. Does anyone have pictures of the Blue scheme that they can post?

How about posting actual pictures of the Jolly Roger, anyone? Hard to decide.
