Here are some photos from the first flights. Not the best day for photos but its now an 'airplane' nonetheless!

As Kris mentioned, I'm using a K100 and flying from grass. Here are some video clips.

One point of note which was quite interesting, the model required virtually ZERO trim!
it did needs some up elevator for clean flight (may go away when I move the CG back), but no trim at both flap positions. See attached TX pics for proof.

Sean,

You may want to check your aileron trims. The plane kept rolling in the fly by videos. Anyway, great looking plane and looks like it flew well with the K100.

Cheers,

Jeff

Still counting the days until mine arrives. Ordered purple scheme 9/15/16.

Just arrived with new larger split tank and type3 pipe. Beautiful. Thanks Dirk. Well worth the wait. Not sure of the status of the gear

Look nice. Pipe looks good from a far, no wrinkles in it. Gear normally shows up a week or so after by DHL. Plenty to do without the gear. If you need any tips just holler.

Have fun.

The version3 pipe is smooth and strong. No need for Tams pipe as far as I can see.

I did about 10 flights with a K210 on the V2 pipe. It held up fine. I'm back with the 140 now though.

Would anyone be interested in buying the landing gear if I do go electric? PM me....
The larger split tank with aluminum fittings is still an upgrade for About $160 I believe and not standard with the kit. I believe the version3 pipe will come with all planes now

As mentioned before my Jet Tronics break valve stoped working on my 7th flight.
I replaced it with a U.P. 6 valve, looking forward to flying this weekend.

When you get a chance can you take a pic of the tank in the fuselage. I would like to get one of those tanks and need to install it from the backside. I want to move my tank back about 2.5" to 3"' from where it is now.

Thanks in advance.

The UP6 is the best brake valve known to man! I love them. You wont be disappointed. When you get used to how slow she will fly you really wont use much brakes anymore.

Not sure why I did not do this from the start as I love the UP3 valves I have used, guess I got all cought up in the electronic jet accessories

I did not need breaks on the last flight as they did not work, light to no wind, I had plenty of runway left, they will be good to have for thoes short runways!
