Is it possible for someone to post some close picture on how they installed the front gear door?
I have tried a couple time to fit mine but i'm not able to figure how to make the hinges geometry to work.
Thanks!

I have read many time , i also have seen your set-up (Digital Pilot) with the cut door and a different set of hinges...

Maybe you can post the hinges style used because the one that come with the kit are not the same for sure...

If i glue the door hinges were they are supposed to go in the fuselage, i'm not able to open the door, there not enough offset in the hinges movement to clear the fuselage, the door open maybe 60 degres and hit the fuselage.

I have a question on the nose gear door as well. When I get mine and start building I want to split the nose gear door. I know some have done it, but I was wondering how far back from the front have others cut it.

You will most likely have to sand the edge away a bit to get it to clear the fuselage. I will take some photos when I get into the shop later this evening. I used aluminum hinges from Dreamworks but they are the same shape as the factory ones. I've also built one without cutting the door and using 3 hinges, sanded the edge a little and it fits and work great..

and yet another T1 ready to maiden, in the coke scheme with a JC 140 RXi weight 32lbs dry with 32lbs thrust , 1 to 1 should be interesting enough, no doors no gyro , built on the KISS principle it is the most remarkable value for money , came out way tail heavy so I need to move things around , may put smoke in the nose for useful weight, I guess you all know its worth waiting for Now !!!

Hmmmm...I would double check the accuracy of your scale. Mine came out at 27.5 lbs with a Kingtech 140, Tams pipe, doors and an extra 32 oz secondary tank.

Just saying....

WHen you CG the model, just fill up UAT and balance it where when the model is on all three wheels it stays there, if you tilt it back it sits on its tail. Thats the perfect cg for this bird.

I'm in the final stag of setup and notice in the front retract a little play in the servo bracket. That affects the front wheel? Anybody else have the same problem and found a solution?

Ronnie and Jeff (and others as you receive confirmation) - could I ask that you also provide your order date? As people post, it would give those of us still waiting some kind of gauge on how far out we are from getting ours and how quickly they are working down the list...

Hi All,
I am at the 6 month time frame. Ronnie is correct and I received the aircraft he passed on. It was damaged during shipping, Barry and Dirk went above and beyond to remedy the situation. I must say they are outstanding with customer service and doing all they can with the changes happening due to plant move. Another thing that is great about T1 manufacturing is they pay attention to the comments here and by other means regarding quality and issues. Example: They took the pipe situation seriously and brought out the V3 pipe. I am quite sure that the landing gear spring issue is being checked out.
I am in agreement with others who have received their T1's when it comes to quality. The jet I received was excellent and definitely worth the wait.
On a side note, I deal with ordering from China as part of my job. The Chinese New Year is a difficult time for many businesses. If orders are not planned correctly (meaning months in advance, then dates will get missed and product not delivered. After the new year, many Chinese companies deal with turnover and need to hire and train new employees). I do not know if this occured with T1 manufacturing.
I hope everyone starts receiving their aircraft so we can all get to building and fly soon.

Have a great weekend!

Jeff

Has anyone received a "Jolly Roger" scheme yet? If so, please post pictures. I'm on the waitlist for one but I am thinking of switching colors. Please post.

I have a Jolly Roger scheme on order placed Aug 31 and at that time I recall that this scheme had just been made available so I'm guessing that I was probably one of the first to order this scheme. Given that I am seeing planes being delivered for orders placed in mid-August and allowing for the Chinese New Years break, I am hopeful that I will get mine sometime this month.

I also ordered the JR scheme on the 8/31. Will be nice to see what they look like.

I originally ordered the JR scheme but changed the color to a Blue/White around February 1st, but I'm just waiting anxiously.

Hi All,

Latest updates from Pacific RC and the T-One factory:

I am pleased to say that all the paid orders will be completed this month and delivering beginning of April. I know it has been a LONG HARD ROAD and we wanted to say thank you for all of your patience and support. For those of you on the waiting list, I will reach out to you in the order I received the requests to see if you are still interested in purchasing a T-1. I will only contact the # of customers that the factory can build and deliver in that month and continue in this manor until all the customers on the list are satisfied. At that time, I will open the orders on our website on a limited basis, based on the monthly production from the factory. From here forward, we will only take the orders that factory can deliver in the 4-6 week time frame. This process will also be in force for the T-3 & Euro fighter as well.

From The Factory:

The factory has been listening to the concerns of weak springs in the T-1 gear and has sent me a new set of springs to test. We have tested them, they perform excellent, and they will now be incorporated in all the T-1's leaving the factory. We have been holding off delivering some units from last month until the new springs arrived. Those units will be shipped next week. I will also be receiving replacement springs for those of you that REALLY need them. Again, If you REALLY need a new set of springs, send me an email requesting them and I will ship them out as soon as I receive them in.

After speaking to the factory about our electric retracts, they have found a set of electric brakes that they are confident in and all the electric retracts will come with electric brakes as well. The price will remain the same.

That's all for now,

Dirk
