Default Large Jets that separate at the rear for transport

Anyone heard of any failures or flutter caused by the separation point?
thanks, Jay

Nope but anything is possible, every jet I have owned has had a two piece design. I had some of the joining bolts loosen before due to the ply crushing but nothing happened.

Thanks Fender. Had two separate people tell me on separate occasions that they were permanently attaching the halves to prevent flutter/weak spot. I plan on keeping mine detachable for transportation & possible future resale. Wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Post some pictures if you can. It is always interesting to see how others come up with solutions. I am building a large Vigilante and the nose will come off to fit in the van.

If you look at the rebel pro design it has an option for a quick removable tail for transport. It uses a notch design with a lock at top and bottom.
