cmp3cantrj, You might be right about longevity but for the 25$ it cost me, it was on special, it is not a huge risk.
I just like convenience, I have been carrying around to many bits and pieces for too long. This is compact, can be hanged in my trailer permanently, so as not to forget it ever.
An other point is, clip the battery off put it on the charger and leave it there till it is needed on the tool. this is also a big convenience, it stays charged till I need it. Why can't we do that with our lipos?
TTrotary, I never exercise at the flying field, foot pumps are too exhausting.

My Feedback: (48)
I like this one from Home Depot http://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-12-...D12A/203356023
The price is right. Just cut off the cigarette lighter plug, install a Deans connector and an old 3 cell Lipo. I'm on the second season with mine. Also all of my planes have a standard tire (Schrader) filler valve from Century Jets, so there's no need for and special tubes or screw on fittings.

I use a campbell hausefield flashlight/inflator combo. Has wall charger and cigarette adapter that stores inside so you always have them with you. I use a robart fill valve and a short piece of tubing to the fill chuck. Works good and i have filled a flat on my trailer tire. I think it was about 40 bucks 4-5 years ago.

Glad you are happy with your choice so am I. As always in this hobby, more than one way to skin a cat and one man solution is seen as an other man problem.
all in good fun in the end.
