A great day at Waco today. For a holiday Monday, quite a few pilots showed up and are here for the week. Perfect weather

Rumor has it that David Shulman will be here Thursday for the event. It's been a while since he has been here.

Up in Dallas now picking up the truck and trailer loaded with Elite Aerosports planes and equipment.

I missed attending this year due to previous commits but enjoyed catching up with the guys on Saturday. A great event as always. A whole new batch of jet pups this year. LoL

Thanks to Larry Garrett and the members of HOTMAC for a superb event. Excellent facility, great food and plenty of it, and most important great friends. The shrimp boil Sat. evening was awesome.
The weather gods blessed us this year plenty of heat and humidity. Rain was predicted for Saturday but that turned out to be wrong. A 10 degree drop in temp, lower humidity and a gentle breeze down the runway. No crosswinds this year.
Very few mishaps. All pilots walked away unhurt. One of the mishaps, the wings folded. Only things recovered were the wings and canopy, fuselage was never found.
It was great to see David Shulman. He still has the magic fingers on the sticks

Bob-O's right. Great, smooth event. Weather was great, especially Saturday. Food was wonderful. Bob-O, Dawn and Price did great on breakfast again Friday and Saturday. Pilots did great making things easy and fun. Congrats to Bob-O on the Top Gun award!!!!!

I agree, great event, felt like a big club fun fly. This was my first time, but I will be back. And with all the Magnolia stuff the wives took off on their own and left us to play with our toy airplanes, a total win win.
