Tone Eurofighter
Okay guys, the wait is over( for me)!! Dirk ( from Pacific RC Jets) called me with the best news of the year!!! My T one Eurofighter is ready to ship. As some of you may know I had a bavarian tiger which I spent months painting and unfortunatley lost at the end of this last year. I had heard T one was going to do a euro so I got my name in the hat ASAP, thinking I would order in white and do the whole scheme all over again. Then Dirk tells me they are considering the bavarian scheme as one of their custom ones!! So I say "really", hoping it could meet my expectations. Well, let me tell you , words cannot describe how unbelievably awesome this jet turned out!!! They "NAILED IT" and then some.!!! I'm still getting chills when I look at it(knowing all the sweat , tears and sleepless nights I spent creating mine) and to think these guys created something honestly I could never do. You cannot tell it from the actual full scale jet. I could keep on about how amazing this is but I will stop and just show the pictures that I have. A HUGE thank you again to Dirk, Barry , Pacific RC Jets, and all the skilled artists and craftsman at T-one models for creating what I consider a masterpiece( I realize I'm being partial but still....) YOUR'RE THE BEST.....

T one eurotanks
i received the fuselage for euro this week. Awesome detail and high quality! I was wondering if someone from t one could comment on the fuel tanks design. In earlier photos I saw one large tank Now there are 2
and they look like this
With the clunk being inserted from the left side towards the rear( right) it seems to me to assure good fuel flow in a vertical or high alpha climb the clunk must be long enough to reach back of tank. Then when the plane is leveled out the fuel volume may still be a adequate but will all be collected in the front well area allowing the clunk to be above fuel level and draw air. If I make the clunk length such that is lays in the front to utilize all the available fuel , then in a climb with low fuel , the fuel left will flow to the back of the tank and again will potentially suck air. Maybe I'm just not seeing it but could use some clarification. I understand the reason for the shape to sit above the air intake tunnels. Please advise. Thx

If anyone is still following this page I'm thinking about starting a build thread since I now have all the parts ( minus redesigned fuel tanks). Started with cockpit . This is the best cockpit I've ever seen. No instructions and took a while to figure out how to assemble but well worth the effort
Had pictures to post but for some reason , they won't load

Here are photos of my cockpit install. Since there are no instructions I was just using the pieces to what made sense to me. Not sure how correct it is but I think it will work. By utilizing all the round magnets and black plastic pads, I was able to construct so that all the components are removable.( I believe that was the intention of the engineers)
For some reason I can only load one photo at a time

If you construct the magnets in the seat frame first, then glue magnets into the matching support rails( look closely you will see one fits left and one fits right), then snap the rails to seat frame and now you have an exact location as to where the support gussets( I used triangular maple stock)should be glued to side of fuselage as well as gluing the side rails. Its actually a pretty close fit. I did add a block of balsa to the front floor with a magnet in it to give bottom support to front seat frame . Hard to see in photos but is under the center joystick console. It may not be necessary since there really is no appreciable weight on the seat frame except for pilot and seat. The back of the seat frame rests on the bulkhead just behind seat.

Oh, I almost forgot , one important thing....By putting the cockpit in this way( and I could have done it incorrectly, causing this problem) the seat is too tall for the canopy. I ended up cutting about 1/2" off the bottom of the seat so when it sits in the frame , now the canopy closes with maybe a 3/16" gap between top of seat and canopy. The pilot legs may be a little closer to the floor but I didn't find it too noticeable and I thought he and the seat looked scale, compared to actual photos I could find on internet.

Can you please tell me if the tank is the 2 litre size? And also did you order the second 2 litre tank? Is there room for the two tanks in the model.
many thanks👍😀

The tank(s) that I currently have , are actually a little over 2 liters each( 74oz. each). I filled and measured each one. I did receive a third tank that is about 266mm long and basically 63mm square. I was told that is a smoke tank. The 2 liter tanks are the ones that are wedge shaped and will not function properly unless a large header tank could be used somewhere( no space for one really) Supposedly new tanks are arriving which will have a conventional rectangular shape, and measuring about 228mm x 114mm x 111mm. I'm hoping this combined volume will be 5.0- 5.5L.
Hope this helps.
