Is there anyplace close to get jet A? I'm bring full cans but not sure that will last for the entire event. I need to swap to diesel, but I when it's not broke don't fix it.

We can accommodate. Just talk to Mike when you arrive.

We have jet A on site, and also available at a nearby airport in Griffin.

I'll be rolling mid day Thursday. Be there about dinner time. Looking forward to being there again after missing a couple years. Always a great time. Looks like a large contingent of the Nashville Jet Band will be there.

Just got home from a great weekend. Lots of flying, food, and tons of friendly BS. Its good to see all the friends I have made in this hobby. Had a wonderful time and got home with 2 jets without a scratch. Thanks to all the Georgia Jets guys for hosting such a Sierra Hotel event!

I took a bunch of pictures one of the days, they are all on my facebook page, if your interested. RCU is a pain to upload from your phone since you cannot upload as easy. I had a really good time this year, flew a lot and really enjoyed talking to friends and meeting some new ones! Only regret was not flying the tomcat earlier in the event, brake servo didnt work on landing which caused the over the hill of walk of shame but the jet didn't have a scratch on it, crazy luck! Plus finally got my gyro working in the Rebel pro thanks to a friend, completely makes the rebel feel like a new jet, love it!

Just got home tonight, another fantastic SJS. Weather was perfect all 5 days. Great facility, great guys, and great flying. Already have next year on the calendar.

Thanks for a great time,
Gary Jones

Mike, Thank you and the crew and club. Even without a jet I had a great time and got some good advice to cure some potentially fatal defects on the 1/5 F-86 I have on the bench. Looking forward to next year especially to see my new friends.
Charles
PS non-RC But,
Next year If you are traveling west on 20 to go home and like motorcycles plan some time to stop in at Barber Motorsports Museum off exit 140 just before you get to Birmingham. I spent 3 hr there and thought it was 30 minutes, going back. Awesome collection literally hundreds of motorcycles 1880's to current and a great Lotus car collection, a world class museum.

EVERYTHING was "Super" about Super Jet South - the guys who ran it, the guys who attended it, the facility, the weather (nice and hot! ), the flying, all of it!

We had a blast! The only downside is having to wait a year to do it again!

Had a blast this year! This was my first time getting out this year, and I throughly enjoyed myself! Had so much fun that I was totally unaware of the photo bomb...still laughing at that one☺️! That was a good one!!! Looking forward to next year.
