Dan:

As we discussed on the phone, we will not be able to attend because of our previous commitment to the Arizona Electric Festival the same weekend. Also,as we discussed, we will provide product support from House of Balsa and ZAP. Sorry to say RC Flighdeck would not be an option for me also. Good luck with the event and we will miss being there with you and all of our friends. Please email your shipping address for product delivery. ([email protected])

Actually the event is over on Saturday, so if anyone wants to stay that is fine. You can stay until Monday too as that is Presidents day.

Where we are located they always get the weather report incorrect. And they get paid too.. lol

For example Palm Springs gets way over 5.7 inches a year and Indio gets maybe 3.2. We are even father out than Indio.

Heck Kentucky Jets got rain everyday when I was there.

The sky is not falling.

Dear Desertlakes

I was strong in my response. I did not mean to be. Knowing a weather rumor could keep someone from having a great weekend was my heart felt reason. I have seen rain on the mountains while we were flying in great weather.

I sincerely did not want to be insulting in any way.

The weather report has no rain on the horizon for the next two weeks. The wind is predicted to be lite and variable from the South, South west That means approaches from the North away from the Sun=Perfect.

Cant wait to see everyone at our event.

I'd be there earlier, but rooms in Indio are expensive, and I spent my toy hauler down payment money on a T-One so I could get on the list sooner than later..

Our Fickle Weatherman

It seems that DesertLakes could have been a Psychic. The weather forecast should be looked at for those who are driving from a long way away.

I do not know what the weekend will look like but the Arizona Electric fly is in the same boat. No pun intended.

Keep your favorite weather app handy, I will post more as the weekend gets closer.

It is a long weekend so we could push it into Sunday if you guys want too. Monday is a holiday.

I do the weather for a bunch of us that fly up here in Reno Dan.

i really wanted to come down for this one to meet a bunch of people I've just talked to, but I'm coming from Reno and that is a long long trip (9 hours) to take a chance with.

Don't worry bout the pilot fees, you guys hang on to that.

See some of you in Tucson. Come up to my field in April! April 8-9 It's only 9 hours from LA area

I can understand your reticence in making the drive. Yahoo weather has us at 45% chance of rain on Friday.

Thanks for the pilot fee donation.

Maybe the forecast will change, after all it is just that, a forecast.

What gets me is that the weatherman still gets paid... Lol.

LOL The weatherman here just said it is gaining strength and supposed to be pretty intense. They are doing flood prep again...

Doesn't that mean there is a 55% chance it's not going to rain? The odds are better it will not rain than it will rain. I am still planning on coming out!!
