Thank you for your compliments! We were blessed with great weather and big beautiful Oklahoma sky. http://grandlakemarketing.com/rc-jets/
Planning has begun for 2017 and it's going to be huge. The full scale L-39 courtesy of Cliff was a nice addition.
We were extremely happy to have had Captain Dennis Michael give a show n tell with QnA to 160 school children of all ages. The most asked question was "How old do I have to be to learn to fly?"
Thanks to Lightspeed and Dennis! You knocked it outta the park and Horizon Hobby is lucky to have you.
The local media was very friendly as well.

What a great first year event. Lots of pilots from several states and pretty much non stop flying for everyone. I think Don Perry put about 18 flights on his plane in one day. We were all glad to come down and Watch Cliff fly by and then bring his beautiful L39 in for all to admire.
Special thanks to the South Grand Lake Regional Airport. Couldn't have asked for a more RC friendly facility. Good ole Oklahoma hospitality at it's best!
Like Jason said in his post above ---- Wait till you see what happens next year.

Thank you Jason, David, Ken, the airport manager, the airport board, DSA, Girlfriends of the Airport and Brent Howard, and the community for such a welcoming invite to share their facilities, and lots of food. Really felt like a pampered guest. A first class act all around. Stayed so busy I forgot to take pictures. Had a great time, enjoyed great weather, got ten flights in (a lot for me), and looking forward to next year.

Had a great time guys and thanks for hosting us!
I was talking to Jerry on the ride home that it needs to be put on our regular schedule to make sure we make it back, as it's got not only a great place to fly, but well run and great to be so welcomed by the local community.
Thanks!
Lance
