I'd be tempted to do another XXX some day. Did they fix the stab incidence from version 1? I'll be following your progress, I was amazed at the level of completion & quality of this kit.

F1, your build looks great! I'm also working on one. Mine will have a JC Rabbit as the power.

Nice Bird guy's.

Please post flight info, i'm really curious how the new V2 fly's.

Had the "old" V1 version but never got it to fly cause of the stab incidence issue, simply did not thrust it and did not wanted to put my expensive turbine at risk.

Still got my eye on one cause i really like the size of this one.

Have fun and good luck on the maiden flights.

Cheers,

Ed

Within 24 hours of receiving the xXx it was ready for maiden day. Ground handling was perfect and then top off fuel and on to the runway.. Nice rotate and just needed a few clicks of up elevator and a click of left and the xXx was flying on rails. Initially I did not have enough elevator travel so it was a bit scary pulling out of a splits S. Once all travel adjustments were made this bird was tearing the skies with its Jets Munt 100XBL.

With approx 2500ml of fuel I was getting 6 minutes of good flight time. Had 6 perfect flights.

Again thanks to Danny and the team at "Rocket Factory"

Hi Lee,

What size are those tanks please? I have a Merlin 100 going in mine so hoping to get some good fuel capacity in.
