All new Merlin M70XMBL

I've heard positive things from people who should know but still it has not happend. In parallell we now have the Kingtech K70 on the market and..... it's a heavy piece of machinery. The installed weight is like 350grams over the advertised weight of the M70XBL, so..... go jetsmunt, we need this one!

The M70 would be a possible buy for me. T50 Boosts smaller planes too where a P20 or K30 is not cutting it. This M70 would power the next size perfectly. I usually like lighter setups so would maybe go T50 for the HOT and M70 for the next step up who used older 100N engines. Does that make sense? Lol

Hi Henke, exactly my thoughts about keeping small planes light.
love the way the lamberts start and run, was just tempted with the kero start on the M70.
Anyways will take a call on the turbine closer to JP.
Regards
Chatty.

This is not exactly true. The total weight of the K70 is around 150 grams heavier, not more. If your information is from the RCJI test, then you noticed the total weight of the K70 is including the 3S LiFe battery.
The total weight of the Jetmunts is without the battery.

Stay away from the T50 and go for the Kingtech K70 in the rebel hot!
The Rebel Hot fly's beautifully with the K70. We have a lot of experience with both the K70 and the T50.
The M70 could be a good engine, time will tell. My experience is that the lightest engines are not always the most reliable...

Good to hear from you.
Received a mail from Gasper my M70 should be ready in the August batch, so will look forward to it.
As far as the Lamberts go, we do not have any T50 in India, but have had great running from many other models of Lambert including the T35 which weighs only 270 grams and runs very sweet even in 38 degrees here in India.
