I have a room reserved but I think I'll be a spectator since that is a loooooong drive and there will be a lot of people there. I'm still going to register as a pilot though because it helps the event.

And good luck trying to get your waiver at an event when an actual CD is present...

My friend got his at last year's BITW by flying the day before the event actually started. He had two CD's signatures....

Sure its possible. We have time before the event starts, plus we have set times for the event to end at end of day, then open flying, test flights and for other things.

Just stay in touch.

As a CD.....I wouldn't come to an event and expect to get my waiver, let alone fly supervised without one.....without talking to the current CD.

I know we allowed this up in WA at a few jet meets, but the turnout was not excessive. I'm ok getting it here local first.

Hotels in the area of I-10 and Cortaro Exit 246. I would not recommend hotels in the area of I-10 and Ina Road due to the Ina Road interchange construction.

I'll be there around noon-1pm on the 17th. Already paid up and paid for dinner. Not flying but paid as a pilot anyway. Hopefully I have my CD card by then in case anyone needs me.
