Hi Rich.
I do like direct drive. Funny thing is I had 2 or three of those lying around in my Retracts parts pile. I threw all that stuff away went I got out of jets last time. Do you have an extra?

The intairco wheel/brakes don't seem to lock as easily as say a BVM set for example, so you may want to check the braking power after greasing them.

Dom, BTW, appreciate your thread on the Chippy Ho SM F-18 you did way back. It helped me out on mine.

Yep you are right! I had to clean about 90% of the lube off. A little goes a long way with these brakes.

I just emailed Linda at Dreamworks. She said the container is on the water now and expected to port in Miami the last week of December. Looks like I should have my Flash by mid January.

I bought this jet over the summer when CARF was having the 15% off sale. Shipping direct was $450 and I would have had it in a few days. Since I was not planning to build till the winter I opted to save some money and have the jet sent over on the pending container for Dreamworks. Shipping from Florida to NY is less than $200.

On the contrary ......it was an accountability issue , what was promised and what transpired were totally different - carf rep was usless , he got his money and then forgot about the customer - I have seen this happen quite often
Its all history now -

My experience with DreamWorks and Linda in particular has been A1 First Class. I can't say enough about them.

I have to agree. I just spoke to Linda yesterday about an order I placed and she apologized and wanted to make sure I still wanted it because it would be a week delayed for production.

I emailed Linda to get an update and she said the boat has been docked in Miami but no word on when the container will be transported to Dreamworks.
