Did the wing have the straight leading edge and Slats? They did not highlight this in the video.

Why would they call it a T45 then? Even the stab is incorrect

yes this was same like the Hawk 100 , the T45 kit included it (the prototype not install it), and the T45 stab is little big than the Hawk, the wing different with the Hawk, I will take some pictures for compare both, sorry the 1/5 T-45 have no the slat.,

Ok, thanks for the clarification. No clue why they'd post an old pic of a different airplane?

If anyone is interested, the parts ahead of the horizontal stab are called SMURFs (Side-Mounted Under Root Fins). Glad to see that this will be a true T45 and not just another Hawk painted like a T45. Good job Anton. How long did it take to add the million rivets??????

A little off topic, but its slow and the smaller one isn't out yet.

I'm converting my 1/3.65 scale SM Hawk into a stand off scale T-45 in centennial of flight livery. Adding the side air brakes and tail hook, along with a number of other scale details. SMURFs added.

Will obviously not have the correct stab and wing tips. I'll convert the nose wheel to tandem if SM ever comes out with a 1/3.65 scale T-45 and I can retrofit.

PBS 230N for power.

Just a few weeks away from maiden.

I like it a lot. Great job! That color scheme or the other one with blue and red highlights is the scheme I'd like with the new T-45. Hoping to order soon

Just a quick note for all of you T-45 jockeys out there - the T-45 main gear doors close after gear extension, unlike the Hawk. This is to prevent them from striking the deck on arrival at the boat...

Bob ... good point! I noticed that in the photos and plan to sequence mine that way.

Take a look in this photo ... do the doors hydraulics bleed down after a while or do crew members open them for inspection or maintenance?
