Wow.. I think that's competitively priced considering it's built & saves time. Has anyone done a comparison? It seems like this one breaks down nicely for transportation. Do you guys know if it's lighter? Does BV/JL offer ordnance?
Thanks guys, I saw an EXTREMELY impressive video of this plane on FB, I need to research this.

A full ordinance pack is available but I had a cut-down set for mine which is no problem on ordering. Mine weighs 19.2kg dry with an M200XBL.
As for transport, the factory have adopted a plug in system using direct servo drive into the stabs and rudder via a ball and nylon insert. Works really well as there is no alignment needed at the field.
I have had about 20 flights on mine - still getting it dialled-in really but it is very stable and predictable and lands easily.

The servos are their own brand but I have heard produced by Savox though not sure how true that is. However they are well made and reliable and have very good torque. They have speed brakes too - air operated.
No problem on the questions dude!

Hi,
My F16 is 19.2kg - I fly it with an M200XBL and Jeti CB200 (what else)...
Fuel capacity is 5.2litres on the main tanks though I could use a smoke tank to add another couple of litres but I see no point as I get enough flight time on the main tanks.
I have the tip missiles on but need to attach the pylons - this may push up the weight to 20kg dead.
I had smoke system fitted but took it out as I'm not that interested on this type of jet!
I hope that helps...
Jeff
PS it's sooooo nice to fly!!

Jeff mine comes in a 46 lbs before fuel. No smoke either. left the tanks in it but don't use them. Kingtech 210g great performance. Here is a video after I repair the nose from a collision on the ground on the a flight in Ga. Jets last fall. It will fly off of grass with the 210g.
It doesn't take much flap on either take off or landing. I have the cortex but it doesn't need it. Lands so nice and stable.

Nice!
Landings seem to be very easy with this jet (guess that's my queue to cock it up now!)
Great performance on the 210 - good luck on future flights and no more repairs!

The two smoke tanks are 2.4lt each and sit ether side just in front of the main tanks.
Both Jeff and myself use a pair of Jeti 5200ma lion packs at 190g each.
They are fitted behind the front former and are accessed through the cockpit.
We also both use a single Jeti 5200ma lion for the ECU, its fitted within the turbine bay, no nose weight is required.

Hi
Yes all 7 servos in the new JL PNP F16 are the Spark 40kg servos. They are soft start on power up so no jolting of the control surfaces, they are also very smooth and precise with extremely good holding power. I have always used top of the range JR servos but was so impressed by the Spark offering I bought 10 more to go in other airframes Im building and saved hundreds of Dollars in the process.

Picked mine up from DHL today. Box only just fit in my van but got it home safely. Usual packaging from Jet Legend, sturdy cardboard box which is protected by plywood ensures that no damage has occurred during transit. Quality is fantastic and what I have become to expect from Jet Legend, and I am sure the install of the turbine etc will be a non event. Slight trimming of the turbine bearers will be required to accommodate the PBS 200 I am fitting and along with the usual Jeti Central Box etc I am sure it will be ready for test flight in no time. A good check of all nuts and bolts etc and the pre installed fuel system will probably take longer than the install itself.
I was have seen both Jeff's and Mark's fly and if mine is anything as impressive I will be very pleased.
Pics to follow at some point when I have sorted things out.

Man I wish I could find a nice servo with Sbus support to replace futaba servos, I spend soooo much money on servos since the servos I use are the about 250$ a piece. I love Sbus, some day perhaps.
