Jetlegend/BVM 1:5 F16 PNP

I have put my Rx packs just a little further back than Jeff, they sit behind the front former were the removable nose cone finishes and are just inside the fus its self.
My F16,s ECU pack also sits in the same as place as Jeff,s ie along side the turbine and with both the pump and ECU in the same position but on the opposite side.
I have experimented with placing ECU packs up front on several different arframes in the past and often find that with these bigger bigger airframes the extra HD wiring needed out weighs the pack itself. In this F16 it would also have given me too far forward a CG.
Both Jeff and my self are using the Jeti 5200 Lion packs for both Rx and ECU weighing in at 195g each.
Again like Jeffs F16 I needed no nose ballast and the finished airframe came comfortable within our UK 20Kg max weight limit so no certification was needed to be able fly it.

Everything has gone together very well with no issues. If the weather holds out hopefully test flight will be at Elvington on Sunday. Just need to pinch Jeffs transmitter to copy his settings for surface travel etc, I have it all set up but best to have the same settings as a proven flier. Extremely pleased so far.
Model supplied by Jeff at Zedjet who is always a pleasure to deal with.

Your F16 looks fantastic in those colours, you cant beat a bit of Red, White and Blue "Jeff"
It certainly wont be lacking in umph with the PBS TJ-20 on board ;-)
All the best with your maiden, you wont be disappointed.

Well, finally got to maiden the F16 and as Jeff said in his original post, absolutely no dramas and a pleasure to fly. I did copy Jeff's movements of the surfaces and neutral points etc, but when there is another model exactly the same that is a proven superb flier, why not take advantage!!?
A few clicks of down trim were needed and a couple of right aileron, but once set straight and level flight was effortless. The model flies superbly (although maybe not in my hands) and has great presence. Landing approach takes a bit of getting used to after my normal sports models but to say I am happy is a massive understatement.
Thanks to Jeff for his support and advice (and of course sarcastic remarks), the two F16s look awesome together.
My underpants are still clean too!!!

Guys, I just received mine and had a few questions:
1. The Fuse came assemble, are you guys taking it apart to check everything inside or just leaving it as is?
2. I plan on installing a P-200...are you guys using the Bypass? I know this turbine needs A LOT of air, so I am concerned with the bypass choking the engine.
3. Just a commit- Disappointed with the lame cockpit..at this price it should have functional MFD's.

No need to ... Just make sure you talk with bvm about wiring connections for the a/b ring

Not using it on my k210g
