Default Savox 2230sg servos

Hey guys

Does anybody have any feed back on these servos i use 8711s but these are more powerful and cost a little less

The applications will be the horizontal stabs on a
1\7 F15e
Avonds F16
And Skymaster new T45

What do yall think

Been using a set for a couple years, no issues whatsoever, but they have some gear play

I love the savox servos. I had 2 of the 2230sg and they worked great but on my FBF15E I built I used the Savox 1230sg and they worked fantastic. At only 69.00 a piece its a bargain. Another good thing is I never had to change the gears like I had to every now and then with the 8711s.

If your F15 is the FB I recommend balancing the stabs. It really lowered the servo load big time.

Yes, I have them in my CARF Tutor. Great servos!! Have been using Savox servos for several years now and have not had any issues. They are a bit noisy but I cant hear them over the turbine whine anyway....

Did you also use the 1230s on the flaps ailerons rudders

I had them on the ailerons and flaps also. For the rudders I had some old JR 8711s laying around I used on the big F15E.
