Yes, I recall spending time with Rich at that Fla Jets and it was indeed scratch built.

Definitely one of the good guys. We always pit together at Kentucky jets. Love to mess with him and he would give it right back. JOK 2015 Roger lost his keys to his trailer. After messing with him for awhile I was able to pick 2 of the 3 locks and able to get his
jets out. Will miss picking at him . Love ya Roger. Tailwinds my friend

I did not know Roger well, but he seemed like a nice guy and obviously he had many friends. My condolences to his friends and family.

Roger was one of the nicest guys in RC, met him in Germany in 95 and again in England 97 as he was a member of team USA, always had time for a talk and a laugh. His Red Knight was awesome !

Sad news. My condolences to his family.

I only met Roger once and he made it seem like I had known him for my entire time in the hobby.
