I placed an order yesterday and talked to Chris. He says the problem is the production relocation and expects the issues to be resolved by late spring. Btw. My order was shipped the same day .

I don't believe that will be a problem . I have talked to some of the folks that have used the NX Servos and they are really pleased with them . A few bucks more but they are fully programmable . I am anxious to try some.

I was told JR America's will not be attending Toledo this year as they are focusing on outdoor shows only, also they have nothing new to display. The
Toledo show is not what it used to be for sure. Attending events like Nall, Florida Jets or others are probably the places to be now. Lets see if they show at the outdoor events this year.

Hmmm, Jeti, Spektrum, Futaba, Graupner are all going to Toledo.

No reason to pay for booth space and travel costs if you don't have anything to show, let alone sell.....

I really hate to say this but I am in the process of switching to Jeti. I have been a loyal and happy JR flyer for many years. JR has been the leader in reliable and friendly radio gears for years but now the lack of information from JR, the nonavailability of equipment and the possibility of having unsupportable radio equipment forces this change. I currently have an XG14 that is an amazing radio. 14 full channels with easy programming. I run dual Rx's in my big jets and have been extremely happy with their performance. I have my new Jeti Rx systems and the Tx will be ordered next week. When I get them installed I will then place my JR radios up for sale as a single package. TX, 1- 1131 11 ch Rx, a XPort duo with dual Rx and a smaller 6 channel Rx. Telemetry on the XPort includes airspeed and altitude modules. Anyone interested just PM me and we can discuss.

I am now researching what servos to use if JR tanks. I just bought servos from Dreamworks for my next projects (Skymaster F-4 and Avonds Fouga)so I have some time to continue that journey. I really hate what has happened to a once outstanding company.

If you are considering new servos, take a look at the Ditex/Hacker servos.
There is a very good comparison test of these vs JR DS and NX servos here:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...ostcount=27687
(Peter is a very well respected figure in the F3A pattern community)

There will also be a firmware update to allow full servo telemetry via Jeti EX bus.

I am doing the exact opposite! Trying to take advantage of all the panic firesales on great JR equipment. I'd be interested in discussing the stuff you are going to put up for sale.

I wonder if I'm the only one who has never needed JR support, and who is 100% happy with HiTec servos.

Ahhh....just fly the thing.

I've never sent a hitec servo back, I usually just throw them away.

I've sent JR servos back, after a crash, e.g. and JR sends me new ones.

I think that it was probably Horizon who's CS has always been exemplary, who took care of the servos for you, not JR.....

Now IF you've had JR Americas do that, I apologize for making an assumption but I've not seen any service reports from JR Americas indicating the same kind of CS unless maybe it was when Horizon was still doing their service work?

NXB8921s are now in stock.
28X systems are in stock.
DMSS receivers should be here in May.
NX8931 and NX3421s will be here in July.

The starting of manufacturing in the new facility has been slow, but it's coming faster with every new shipment.

Skymaster- you are referring to the NX8921 servos- what was received is a shipment of NXB8921 (brushless) servos. I just checked the jramericas.com site and these servos show in stock.

The real message is that, with servos and transmitters having been produced and received and with receivers and more servos coming this Spring, hopefully this helps to alleviate concerns about JR's future.
