Wow a 140 had to be hardly flying unless it was cold. Love to hear how the 250 class pushes it. Who's motor?

Could be wrong about the motor but it was a Kingtech. Flew with authority so possibly it was a 210? One of the engineers here is building the motor as part of R&D in our CNC shop. yet to run, still doing a few last things.
Would like to use 2 for my big F4 one day. Its still in CAD.

It is the bigger F4 not the extreme jets one correct? The smaller one would have been fast on a 140

No, its a Skymaster F4 that I have, the smaller one.
Rather poor video of the original owners test flight.

Just wanted to make sure before you tried to fly to smaller one on the CG I said. So it the 93 1/2 long fuse? That the correct one. You will love the way it fly and lands

Hi Turbotronic,

The Blue Angel F 4 flew like a dream. It lands like a puppy on rails. I had the CG at about 340mm and you could really get the nose up and do a real greaser. It had a 17kg King Tech Gas start.

I'm waiting for the full function wing on the F4E then I will get one of them. Cant wait as I absolutely love this jet.

Anton,

The F4 looks awesome with the ordnance kit ...yummy to tasty. Congrats on a awesome jet.

Happy landings.

Have a great day

Regards

JB

Hi Turbotronic,

See below, this is your F$ in action at Riversdale fly in two years back. Enjoy it. I just love this jets shape, looks like an untamed predator.

Any more flights with the 300 class engine. Want to see some throttled up passes with wings loaded. Need to see the high speed abilities

Default Ky jets next flights

Kevin,

I haven't been flying mine because I don't have any place close with a runway for it. I am hopefully going to log some flights at KY jets. I would love to attend more events like Winamac but works makes it hard. Maybe Anton has flown some more and will update you on his progress.

Maybe see you there?

Anton

Looks good. Please fly some hot high speed passes so we can judge that part of the flight envelope. Looks like a great landing plane but want to show off on the high speed end as well

For some reason, Skymaster keeps using the wrong nose on Blue Angel Phantoms. That's the 3rd one I've seen that way. Someone needs to tell Anton it's just a basic F-4C/D radome with no AN/ALR antenna on the bottom.

Looks great. Does it have a top hatch?

Also, is there a full function (leading edge devices, spoilers) wing coming?

Finally, have any of the anal Phantom scale guys had a chance to compare the outline of this model to full-size for accuracy?

I have the smaller one which appears an exact copy of the 1/6 th. Unfortunately both are quite inaccurate. As an example compare the splitter plate and air inlet positions vs the canopy positions, way off.
Pity...

I agree on the hatch. It is way to small. I think you should be able to remove engine from the top
