Here is an old video that I found on my flycamone2 from about 2008. Finally getting around to posting. Enjoy! The engines is an os 91 with a weston 1/2 wave pipe.

1991. Impressive. I always wanted a regal eagle. In 88 I saved big time when I was junior in hs I bought Byron bullet it instead of a car. I still have it. It's beat but all there. About a year ago I found one nib here on rcu and made it mine.
I know now it's a Byron so it can't be fast but I tell you what they are. That thing makes a boom when it goes by. Migs and f86's don't do that.
Any way this this old pos is battle tested but flys solid.

My Feedback: (1)
So Josh, where are you going to fly the jets since Norton is gone and Gilman Springs will be gone by the end of the month ?

It's not that bad. I am getting back into this so Saturday was the first time I have been there. The runway was clean. But if you run off the side or try to taxi from you start up bench you can pick up sand. But if you carry the plane 30 feet to the clean taxi way, it's not bad at all. I ended up have a issue with the o ring on the needle valve swelling so I never flew.
A friend of of mine has flown high end turbines there. But it's not the visually cleanest place to fly. As I said the runway is ok. But there are lots of obstacles like rock piles out in front of you in a quarry to avoid. It distracts the eye and makes low level dangerous.
I undersand the question though. Filling a goo-dripping ducted fan with sand sucks.
