The CG is now 235 mm from the front.
1 kick trim up , now its ok.

Perfect, thanks for the information!
i have to measure my CG when i get a chance

how do you like your Aspire? i think it flys incredible..

The Aspire fly's very well , have now 6 flight with him.
At 50% gas stick it fly of the runway , i have 16 KG of trust max .
I made a little mix for
knife edge , rudder stick to ailerons (17 %) in the same direction.
flying start weight is with 4.2 liter (75 % of the tank) is 17,4 KG.
After the fight of 7 min . i have 1.2 liter in the tank.
empty weight is 14.100 KG with the hopper full.

After a bit more setup, i am liking the ASPIRE more and more - to be honest it flys absolutely amazing - very light and precise feel in the air.

are you using the top rc electric gear and if so how are they working out for you?

Hey Guys,

I'm seeing a wide range of CG's.
The manual advices 162mm, id3m advices initially 180mm, Vosje is at 235mm. I'd like to make sure we're all measuring from the same reference because there's a max difference of 73mm.

i started at 180mm with 600g (!) of lead in the nose, and i now fly without ALL of it.
so im probably around 230mm or so as well.

180mm is still way too nose heavy in my opinion.
Here is a video from last Saturday. notice the inverted scrape on the asphalt

I downloaded the manual yesterday and it says cg 200 mm from the leading edge
I guess they updated it

Yes you can use one of the original fuel tanks for smoke.

Is this jet made of the airex sand which composite or fiberglass?
