PBS Turbines - HELP!
I am currently working on a friend's F-16 that has a PBS-20 turbine installed. Unfortunately we cannot get the turbine to run properly, it aborts the start sequence at various temperatures (the highest was around 600 degrees celcius). The error code in menu 15 is "0000304". I couldn't find any info in the manual as to what this error code stands for. Can anyone help?

I had the problem, the solution was the fuel nipple wasn't at the 12 o'clock position directly at the top of the engine when mounted, and needs to be for starting. check yours, this might be the same issue.

Hello. I would check a few things.
1. During the calibration sequence does the rpm drop? if so then your rpm sensor is bad probably.
2. Do you see any bubbles in your fuel line. if so thats the reason.
3. Check that your temp doesnt bounce around. If it does then bad temp sensor
4. If all of the above are fine then might be bad ecu.

I retract that last reply. I did not know these have the fuel pump inside the front cover. sorry about that. I am sure it would probably void the warranty so I will not tell you to open up the front cover. So your next best bet is to just send it back to them and let them take care of it for you.
