ONE OF THE LARGEST JET SHOWS IN THE WORLD!
28th. Annual Best In The West!
It's that time of the year for Best In the West Pre-Registration, Tent Rentals etc., etc., Registration is now OPEN: Best In the West Jet Rally will be held on Wednesday October 11th through Sunday October 15., 2017 at the Elk-Hills Buttonwillow Airport in Buttonwillow, California, you may arrive on Tuesday October 10th to set up your tent and you are welcomed to fly. Anyone planning on attending, you may pre-register on-line at the RCFlightdect site https://www.rcflightdeck.com/event.cfm?id=6460 or at: www.bestinthewestjetrally.com Pre-Registration fee is $60, on-site registration fee is $70.00. This year Best In The West again will donate some of the net proceeds to The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
If you would like to rent a Tent, please let me know as soon as possible to secure your Rentals, if you rented a Tent last year 2016 show, you will have that Tent space for 2017. Payment is provided on-line through PayPal from our website. You will also be able to pay for Pre-Registration, Tents, Tables, Chairs, Lights, Hats, T-Shirts, Friday Night Pilot’s Dinner (free to Registered Pilots) ,or $40.00 per person for all others who may like to join us. Saturday Night Banquet Tickets cost is $45.00 per person. There will also be Taco Night on Thursday, Taco night is sponsored by Jobe Carbajal. Thursday, Friday and Saturday night dinners will all take place on site in our 40 X 80 Banquet Tent at 7:00pm.
This year's Auction will be great as they have been in the past shows, but much larger. We have the best sponsors that have donated to the show, We can't thank our Sponsors enough.I like to thank and welcome Jet Central, King Tech USA, Horizon Hobby, Elite Aerosports, Florida Jets, Frank Tiano Enterprises, ZAP Glue, Tam Jets, Duralite Power Systems, effluxRC, Boomerang Jets, Tailor Pilots, Dreamworks, Smart-Fly, Dr. Ken Wagner, Fly Eagle Jets. I like to welcome back Fly Eagle Jets, they will be in attendance and will be donating several of there new awesome jets, they will be auctioned as well as each pilot will receive a Raffle ticket for a chance to win one of the FEJ Jets through a raffle, I will announce what jets will be auctioned and raffled soon, we will also sell FEJ raffle tickets if you would like to have more tickets, you may purchase these tickets on site or at the registration table. We have 34 Spectacular awards to hand out, nothing comes close to our trophy's(Original). Again this year we will decide on who will be the next recipient of the Colonel Robert E. Thacker Award, our most Prestigious Award presented at BITW. Please let us know if you will be attending the banquet, banquet fee is $45.00, this will let us know how many dinner I need to order.
There will be vendors at the show: Some of our Vendors attending are: Kingtech USA, Elite Aerosports, Fly Eagle Jets and much more.
FOOD CONCESSION will be available from Thursday October 12th. through Saturday October 14th, serving Breakfast and Lunch, along with All American Ice Cream Truck and others. Along with all other great Sponsor Donations including Fly Eagle Jets with some of there big new Jets. Thanks to all our Sponsors!

It has been a while since I attended this event, I will be there on Thursday morning to stay till Saturday for the banquet and auction, I will be registering on Thursday.
We will have BBQ oysters at Jose's tend on Friday night ( all 26 dozs have to go on friday :-) ) so swing by.
