Craig

Shopping in the villiage, I took my wife there a month after JP a few years back and she spent a fortune!
Also the walled town of Ahrweiler is next door and a great place to visit. There is a road train that goes there from Bad Neuenahr. 13th century and car free for most of the day.

Thanks Dave. I figured whatever she ends up doing will cost me a few Euros. Of course I might spend a few myself if there happen to be some "show specials".

I'll have a few folding chairs spare for anyone who has travelled a long way and fancies a sit down - just come by and ask, first come first served as I only have two.

Craig,
You will find Jet Power interesting, a bit different than the US meets, you're behind a fence all of the time, the spectator side that is....

HIGH FLOW CHROMED FUEL BARBS

Guys I'm bringing along a bunch of fuel barbs, these are machined brass and then plated, they are all custom made to be very 'high flow' something off the self barbs are not. There are three sizes, an M7 for big stuff, M5 for middle range and M3 for smaller stuff.

All are used on my accessory ranges and would be brilliant for any builder who makes tanks, air systems, hydraulic system etc, I've had many ask about these over the years so will have stock this year for those wanting to 'stock' up.

Could someone please post a picture of where the photographers are filming from? When I went to JP few years back it was a small, swaying, raised platform. Might consider going back next year if it's been improved or the photogs are allowed 'air side'.

1) Only 'prefered' photographers are allowed airside, usually only one or two, and certainly nobody from this side of the channel... ;-)
2) There's a snap-together scaffold tower each side of the pits. Never seemed to sway to me...
3) There might not be a 'next year'...

Weather has turned out quite nice today, a lot better than my trip yesterday over on my new FJR1300AE that now needs a wash! Was good meeting Oli from Ultimate Jets, the work he has done on his models is insane the quality is insane....
Enjoy the pics
Will post some more later as having to load one at a time! Unlike FB!

I wonder if Boeing or airbus will attend next year... What's with manufacturers building such huge aircraft? The average jet modeller simply would never have enough space in their house or transport for such large planes... wish they would concentrate on everyday flyers/buyers than the odd one or two people that would buy something that big!
